the dream match leads to the return of the ages

Jake and Henry sign the contract for their dream match, Henry makes it clear that Jake will never be the guy he thought his sister needed and deserved, and all of the Christian boys think the same. They come down and they tell the crowd stories about the guys that they wanted for her and stories about the guy that she told them she would want. Jake picks up the mic and says that he gets it, he's known it from day one, but none of them didn't stepped up so I'm gonna to. and he says he wants to prove he's good enough and makes a change to the match- anything goes and he begs the christ boys to attack him whenever in the match and he won't attack back. If he isn't good enough for her then he wants the pain to be physical so he might get it through his mind since the heart still holds up. and if he loses the match then he will quit the company. Everyone from the announcers, the crowd and the christ boys are stunned. however the one that doesn't look stunned is henry, his reaction is instead of him looking down and then slowly looking up and then he looks behind him towards the upper part of the crowd seats but why is he looking into that area.

the show before the huge match in the main event of the ppv they have a final sit down but first they have separate backstage interviews. Henry says that he respects Jake for him carrying this company on his back this whole time but he's her big brother and that it's his job to fight the guys that he doesn't think deserves his sister. but then his phone rings and he looks at it and apologizes and says he has to take this, the reporter asks who is calling? he looks at the phone and looks at the reporter saying "a member of the christ boys" and before h walking away talking on the phone but the cameras still manage to pick up unaware to him him saying "i looked at you because you didn't think he would say that, maybe...i mean maybe we were...ya know, anyways when we catching up next.... ok i'll guess i'll see mom and you at the show.... then he says "sis"

Later in the night the crew shows a few career video tributes to James' career, his highlights, lowlights, his battle to the top, thoughts from the locker room, crew and fans. fans talk about how he proved nothing is impossible and some stories about how he went out of his way for them. The crew talks about how he would be going around backstage just helping before,during and after the shows and still manage to make time to be the guy that everyone started going to for advice, help, and whenever you were down either a man short or in your feels he stopped everything and cared. One even mentions that even after Jake's mom passed away he demanded that before anyone asked about how he was they had to tell him 3 things that were new going on in their lives and if you said something bad then he took the time to make you feel about it. The locker room talks about how even when they saw him as nobody he still took the time out to help them in the public and private ways. Jalen saying that he believed him when no one thought his company would work, Tony talks about how scared he was when he was gonna be a dad but Jake told him what he needed to hear. Lauren talks about how even though it was last minute he still took care of her wedding when everything went into chaos. Throughout the show people from the company and fans send out posts with more personal stories about their moments with jake. Her moms post quickly gets people's attention. "He's right, me and her dad always thought she deserved a 5 star qb or a basketball star and that's what she told us she felt like she needed, years ago before her life and ours came crumbling down.

in jake sit down he says if he needs to leave for her to come back then he will, he doesn't want to but he's the promise keeper and he promised the fans the best of the best and that's her and that he's just a guy that was a false Christian just to see a girl sing on this stage the camera pans out to see jake interview isn't him backstage but it's him at the christ, but then suddenly we hear a noise from the curtains. Jake checks all that's there and it's 2 letters with his name and his favorite two candies. exactly what he once did for haley. Jake hears the doors quickly get pushed open but by the time he gets there all you see is him standing at the doors he opens every Sunday to make up for his actions towards her and a white car racing out of the parking lot. The crowd chants one name because they know who drives a white car. The camera zooms in on Jake and he looks down at the 2 letters in his hand. 1 says to the boy you were and the other says to the man you became.

when the two have their sitdown henry is grilling him on all the types of guys that came before him wanting his sisters heart and he's going into personal events of jakes past and uses them as a example of how in those moments he wasn't the man that he needed to be and keeps looking back in that same area of the crowd he did previously, however jake is clearly distracted and pretty much not listening holding the two letters in his hand just staring at them. the final moment of the show is henry slapping him for not paying attention, jake simply says maybe i wasn't good enough in the past but maybe (looks up and looks past henry and to the area henry looked at)and maybe i overcame my past... guess we'll find out sunday haley. The crowd goes bastic Jake thinks the same thing as they all do. Haley was the one on the phone with Henry, the one that was at the Christ and more importantly the reason why Henry was looking in that area.

The ppv starts and the show opens with a white car pulling up to the arena, the crowd is hyped. Are we opening the show with her return. Henry goes and opens the door and his mom comes out- she showed up like she said. Henry asks if you are coming out, but it's revealed to be his other sister. The show opens with the company sorta foreshadowing and trolling the crowd. However the crowd chants "we have faith" the show goes on as normal, great matches all night but each time a fighter walks up the stage Jake is backstage as they come through the apron and gives them advice, complaints or checks on them medically. The fans are starting to wonder if this is Jake's way of saying goodbye.

before the semi main event, dale and pastor walks thru a door in what turns out to be the same area of the crowd and they say "we were hoping you changed your mind and would come back, we told you he deserves a another chance but your running out of time to decide what's gonna happen...but you it's a decision only you can make and whatever you feel like you need."

During the main event christ boys have opportunities to attack jake but they don't want to because they aren't bad guys and they don't have it in them. Is it because of them being Christians and it's against what they believe or is it because they just can't get themselves to hit the man that still changed their lives. However, as the 5 star dream match goes on, Jake screams at them to attack him, preaching he caused her pain so he deserves it. they keep looking at henry throughout the match but he seems to not want it to happen but he's conflicted because what he's been saying he's starting to think about how jake helped him. he keeps looking at ringside where his mom and sister is, at where we all think haley is and around the crowd. The announcers talk about how Henry is starting to get a little emotional but he's trying to fight through the emotions because Jake isn't the type of man he thinks his sister needs. however jake finally gets each of the chair boys chairs from under the ring and he tells them to hit him and end this, they each try to hit him but they cant, they keep looking around the crowd, towards where haley might be at and henry, who looks at jake pretty much praying and then henry gives him his wish and even though he doesn't like it he still gives them the nod and jake shakes his head and they rush him with chair after chair after chair. announcers are begging them to stop, the crowd is screaming for them to stop and they keep looking towards the entrance ramp thinking we're gonna hear haley music and she runs out and clears the ring and saves jake. however it doesn't happen despite the crowd blowing off the roof. the whole time the camera is being shot with where we all think she is at in the background of the shot. The symbolism of the shot, Henry grabs a chair and goes to give it to his sister but her dad would have been proud of the man he is.... but she isn't looking at her brother she's looking at Jake who's still getting hammered with chairs, and she walks away. henry goes to look at his mom but she actually slaps him,and before she walks away as well she screams at her son saying " she once wanted a 5 star qb or a basketball stare but she grew up and realized that she just wanted a man that proved he loved her so she knew the first man that loved her would be able to rest" henry takes a minute and rushes back in the ring and pulls the christ boys off of jake whos can barely stand with all the blood but stands he does and with tears in his eyes he tells henry to do his job and protect his sister from boys. We'll see Jake cry numerous times over the years but we finally see Henry let his emotions fall, and looks down at the chair and picks it up but he throws it out of the ring. to a huge pop. christ boys are standing around the ring side and multiple members of the locker room and the crew comes out to the entrance ramp, two legends of the company that took it to new heights under each of their era crying when henry says between the tears " all i wanted was for her to have a real man and you gave me that" but jake punches him with everything he has left which isn't much and he screams at henry to take everything away from me like i did to her" henry realizes why jake put his career up now, in his mind when haley left it because jake and he stayed there for here took everything from her, and even thought he doesn't want to he hits his finisher on jake. the crowd crying their hearts out and somehow chanting for haley. wanting her to run down the ramp and stop the match but it doesn't happen Henry hesitates but goes into the cover 1-2-2.5-2.9-2.99-3. Henry wins the match. but he quickly gets off him and just sits up against the turnbuckle now completely lost in his emotions as well as everyone else. They chant "please don't leave" "one more match" "doesn't count" "we object", Jake rises to his feet and Henry raises his hand and they share a hug. ceo hugs Jake and raises his hand. Henry leaves the ring and the crowd is still in disbelief Jake is gonna leave. announcers talk about how it can't end like this. Jake delivers one of his best promos of all time and the crowd is begging for him to stay or Haley to come down. Jake gets to the end of the speech by saying I'm not good enough for her and I don't deserve her and well if she did ever need him it would have happened a while ago so he officially quits, and drops the mic. what the hell just happened, there's no way. Jake takes a look around and goes to leave when it actually happens. Haley's music hits and the roof of the earth is destroyed. She takes her time at the entrance area clearly being overwhelmed with the match and the reaction from the crowd. Haley walks down the ramp and around the ring and climbs up the stairs into the ring. no one knew what she was gonna say. for the first time in years they stand face to face and for the first time ever they are alone. both crying . the crowd chants for her to give him a chance. and after the two take the moment in, one that they've been working towards for all this time, she backs up to the turnbuckle and gets a mic and Jake stands in the other end of the turnbuckle. she simply says " if you stay then i'll stay" to the biggest pop ever. The roster claps and beats the ring apron and then in a moment no could have predicted she drops the mic and goes and kisses jake. She then goes to walk out the ring but Jake grabs his mic and says if I say yes to that, if I ask you if I go to Christ Sunday... will you join me? the crowd pumps up even louder. she stops and turns around and says "yes"
