How do you feel these days? Were you able to stitch back those torn pieces you’ve been hiding? Will you say yes to carrying a weight? Is your hand capable of holding something again?

It’s time to choose me. I know you want to stay there. You’re so used to letting everything slide without knowing if something is dressed as a gift meant to kill you or if it comes with thorns but could show you ways to get what you want.

You can’t fool me with that smile.

You are free to stand for what you want;

You don’t have to stay when people leave you,

You don’t have to fight for those that abandon you.

These thoughts won’t get you anywhere now.

You are free—stand!

Be where you are and live,

Live even if the world abandons you.

You don’t have anything to lose.

Nothing in here is “yours”; don’t be afraid to change.
