Someday, he will be you..
Detail to the things a boy experienced while celebrating his last festival at home before going abroad.

Festivals bring a lot of joy, happiness, celebration and togetherness. Everyone enjoying their heart out and laughing and dancing. But Seating in a corner, with a gloomy face he is, who is celebrating the last festival season before moving out, watching and absorbing everything happening.
He who never sat at home, who always went out with friends for the celebration is not even willing to go out of the room where everyone else is there. He, who always enjoyed, is seating quietly in laughter and happiness all around. He who never wanted any relatives to come home is wishing to God, they stay a little longer. He, who never spent a vacation away from his family doesn't even know when he will get the next chance to celebrate the season of joy again with his loved ones.
Even the family members know, this might be the last time they are together without knowing the next time they are going to have such joy together. His father while arranging the lights called for his sons help, not knowing when he will get the chance again. Cleaning the temple of their house mother asks the son to clean the fan and all the windows wanting the dust never leaves and he stays there forever. His two younger brothers while busting the fire crackers are remembering the time when their elder brother use to do that for them, as they were scared the previous year and now they want to relive that again, well known with the fact that from now onwards he will not be there to help them. His friend is not sad or he is acting really well, as both of them are well aware of the truth that they together celebrating for the last time.
Everyone is trying their best to enjoy every single moment knowing, this might be their last for an "indefinite time." Still there is a corner where everyone is sad, numb and emotional. Everybody in their grieves are forgetting about the possibility that this "indefinite time" might 3-4 years more or less.
He knows this.. Yet he is trying to absorb every single thing, each moment and every smile as this is going to be his strength for the upcoming years.
He is me.. And he might anyone of you..
