New Poll Results Reveal Harris Is Leading Over Trump In New York Voters: Siena College Poll
Some Asian American And Pacific Islanders Support Is Crucial For Both Candidates
The election day is coming up in less than 90 days.
A new study from Siena College released Tuesday shows that among New York voters, Vice President Kamala Harris is ahead of former President Donald Trump.
"Inside City Hall" host Ayana Harry and Siena College researcher Steven Greenberg talked about the latest numbers in the presidential race and the chances of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the candidate for a third party.
Greenberg also talked about problems in New York, such as the number of jobs approved by Gov. Kathy Hochul and the question of whether or not New Yorkers support the plan to charge for congestion, which has been put on hold for now.
The campaigns of both Democrats and Republicans are getting stronger in New York and across the country.
This includes Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, who were just named her running mate. They held rallies in Pennsylvania on Tuesday and Wisconsin on Wednesday.
The Asian American And Pacific Islanders Support Is Crucial
Harris might be the first woman president of the United States and the first president from South Asia.
At this point, the Asian American voting group has won more and more races in New York.
On Wednesday, NY1's Bobby Cuza, State Assemblywoman Grace Lee, and Democratic adviser Trip Yang went on "Inside City Hall" to discuss this further.
Lee works with people in Chinatown, the Lower East Side, Lower Manhattan, or parts of those areas. Yang has worked on Donovan Richards' primary campaign for Queens borough president and Jumaane Williams' campaign for public advocate.
