My Wonderful Dream
My lover was in it.
One night I had a lovely dream.
It was morning, a bright sunbeam.
In my mind was a waterfall.
The evergreen trees stood tall
I dreamed the rain fell on the ground.
The bees buzzed, ladybugs were found.
Dark clouds cleared. I looked at the sky.
A rainbow appeared oh so high.
The birds were singing in the trees,
And trees swayed in the gentle breeze.
Then I saw some flowers appear.
Baby animals I could hear.
My mate placed a rose in my hand,
Told me sweet words I'd understand.
He lovingly caressed my hair.
We walked and enjoyed the fresh air.
We saw the rippling of the creek.
He kissed me gently on my cheek.
Calmness, serenity we found.
Our Father's love was all around.
