Recently, I had the opportunity to work as a fractional director of SEO for an HVAC company based in Miami, Florida. When I joined, I quickly realized that while they excelled in providing quality services, their online visibility was lacking. Determined to enhance their local SEO strategy, I implemented a comprehensive plan that included several key steps.
Optimizing Google My Business
I started by optimizing their Google My Business (GMB) profile. This involved claiming and verifying their listing and ensuring that all essential information, such as business hours and contact details, was accurate. We also added the specific services offered and the areas they serve.
To gain traction quickly, we utilized GMB ads to boost visibility and attract potential customers in the local area. Regularly posting updates and engaging with customers through this platform further strengthened our online presence.

Encouraging Customer Reviews
Understanding the power of customer reviews, I reached out to past clients, encouraging them to share their experiences. We saw a notable increase in positive reviews, which not only built credibility but also improved our local rankings. Responding to these reviews helped foster a sense of community and trust.
Redesigning the Website

Throughout the process, I closely monitored performance using tools like Google Analytics and GMB insights. This allowed us to track website traffic, keyword rankings, and customer engagement effectively. Based on the data, we made adjustments to our strategies to continuously improve our results.
