Live Well, Be the Best Version of Yourself

Some people—let go of them. Some things—learn to take them lightly.

As we grow older, we come to realize that the more we obsess over certain people or things, the further they drift from us and the heavier our burdens become. So, we learn to let go, to take things lightly, and gradually master the art of moving on.

Life is a constant journey of picking up and letting go. There is joy and sorrow, pain and healing. What is meant for you will be yours; what is not, no amount of striving can change that.

From black hair to gray, life is but a fleeting moment. Whether rich or poor, we all have just a few decades of life.

Life is a process of awakening—not just in appearance, but in mindset. From naivety to awareness, from immaturity to maturity, the real transformation is internal.

At a certain age, we stop being overly serious—towards ourselves, because it harms our health; towards others, because it's exhausting; towards friends, because they are irreplaceable; towards family, because harmony matters more.

As Cai Gen Tan says:

“Remain calm in honor or disgrace, as flowers bloom and fall before the courtyard; take no heed of coming or going, as clouds rise and drift in the sky.”

Life is a long road, and we are all just passing travelers. The good and the bad, the worldly matters, are but fleeting smoke. When you see fame and disgrace as natural as the flowers' cycle, you find peace of mind. When you view arrivals and departures like drifting clouds, you become serene and free.

What we experience now is the best arrangement by the universe. Every encounter is a beautiful destiny; everything lost was meant to be lost; everything we gain is a form of happiness.

A narrow heart will always face obstacles; a broad mind will see spring in every corner.

Love with addition, hate with subtraction, show gratitude with multiplication, relieve worry with division.

No matter how good you are, someone will criticize you. No matter how right you are, someone will find fault. Nothing escapes judgment, and no one escapes gossip. It's hard to please everyone, hard to satisfy every voice.

So, don’t care too much about others' opinions. Don’t live to be what others expect. Live as happily as you can.

As the saying goes:

“Love with addition, hate with subtraction, show gratitude with multiplication, relieve worry with division.”

Life is a form of endurance. It never owes anyone anything. When people speak ill of you behind your back, even the most eloquent words can't defend you. Life is full of ups and downs.

If you are calm and virtuous, you'll be admired like a rainbow. If you're tolerant and kind, you’ll be embraced like the sea. If you're serene and far-sighted, you'll be loved like a spring breeze. If you’re content and non-competitive, you’ll be praised like clear water.

Time is the most magical force—it takes away many things we once cared about, but also heals wounds that were once unbearable.

So, whether you fail or succeed, feel sad or happy, never lose your principles. Don’t forget to remind yourself:

“This too shall pass.”

Hold on, and spring will bloom again.

Life rarely goes as planned — that’s normal.

Often, we long for a perfect life, hoping the world gives us only beauty.

But once we truly start living, we realize that life is like a river—clear streams and muddy water flow together.

As the saying goes:

“What you resist, persists.”

Life may be unkind, but it’s fair. When one door closes, another will open.

What you need to do is accept reality, don’t give up, and find your brilliance amid chaos.

Any life of value is not born from comfort. Suffering is a test, a trial, a grit-your-teeth kind of challenge. Enduring pain can be a powerful motivator.

We are all ordinary people without superpowers. But we have time. If you want to keep going, there's only one word:

“Endure.”

Nietzsche once said:

“That which does not kill us makes us stronger.”

If you can endure, you’ll see the flowers bloom again. Just keep going—everything will pass.

Live well, be the best version of yourself.

Victor Hugo once said:

“To live is to challenge, to constantly scale the steep cliffs of destiny.”

On life’s journey, as long as you keep striving, every step is solid, every day is new.

To live is like singing a silent song—the beauty is all around you. We keep seeking, but what we truly want is often what we had at the start. We complain, yet those who never leave us are right behind us. We want to break free, yet it’s our own thoughts that hold us back.

Life flows like water—it’s beautiful and meaningful only when it rushes forward.

We are all walking a tough road. Even if it's full of thorns, storms, and scars, we must walk tall, rise again, and keep challenging ourselves.

Be brave, embrace the challenge, never give up, never stop.

In the struggle, live well, and be the best version of yourself.
