Is it right or wrong to love someone with all your heart? Part 3
the love story
Days after the breakup, she reached out to him, expressing a desire to reconcile. Meanwhile, the young woman was heavily influenced by her beliefs and a strong attachment to another couple. Despite knowing her partner was involved with multiple other girls, she still clung to him like a child. Her thoughts revolved entirely around him. If he commanded her to stand, she would comply; if he told her to sit, she obeyed. While her parents argued, he never dared to speak a harsh word to her. Each time she made a mistake, he threatened to end their relationship. In desperation, I pleaded and cried to my best friend, confessing that he was my first love. I felt as if my life revolved around him. My love for him was absolute, and I was willing to give up everything. If he were to leave me, I believed I might not survive. Who would have guessed that one summer day at a coffee shop, his other girlfriend was there too, laughing with friends and smoking? He initially appeared refined but quickly revealed a more submissive side. There was also another couple reminiscent of a pampered cat, where the girl had to juggle multiple jobs to cover expenses. Her living costs were trivial to her. All day she applied makeup, ordered takeout, bought expensive leather handbags, and posted photos to flaunt her lavish lifestyle to her friends. When he needed assistance, she was sweet, promising him happiness as if he were on top of the world. However, once he achieved success, she turned sour and critical, suggesting he had become unattractive. Should she keep a handsome partner like him, or fear losing him to someone else? Does this narrative represent true love?
