How To Make Viral Shorts for Youtube

How I got 1000 subscribers easily after i realised these things

By RAJIV BanikPublished 8 months ago 2 min read

I was uploading like crazy.

Seriously — I was posting YouTube Shorts almost every single day. For a whole year. But after all that effort, I barely reached 500 subscribers.

Why?

Because I didn’t know what I was doing. I was just… uploading. No plan. No research. No editing. No hook.

I thought just being consistent was enough. It’s not.

Then one day, I paused everything and really looked at the Shorts that were going viral. I realized something huge — it’s not about uploading more. It’s about uploading smart.

Here’s what changed everything:

1. I Focused on the First 3 Seconds

If the first 3 seconds don’t grab attention, no one watches the rest.

So I started using strong hooks, big text, and fast cuts right at the start.

I made people stop scrolling.

2. I Studied Trends, But Added My Twist

Instead of copying, I remixed trends to fit my style.

Same music? Sure. Same format? Maybe.

But I always made it different enough to stand out.

3. I Stopped Uploading Random Stuff

Earlier, my Shorts were all over the place — one day gaming, next day food, then football, then editing tips.

Now? I picked one theme — and stuck to it.

YouTube started understanding what my channel was about, and pushed it to the right people.

4. I Started Writing Better Titles & Descriptions

Even Shorts need a good title. I started adding keywords, emojis, and making it exciting.

No more “Shorts #1” or “lol 😂”.

That stuff doesn’t help anyone.

5. I Watched My Own Shorts Like a Viewer

I asked myself: “Would I watch this till the end?”

If the answer was “no” — I deleted it and made it better.

Simple.

And then… it clicked.

One Short went viral.

Then another.

Then another.

500 turned into 1,000 subscribers — fast.

And it didn’t even feel hard anymore.

Now I know the truth:

It’s not about how MANY Shorts you upload.

It’s about how GOOD and STRATEGIC they are.

If you’re still struggling, just pause, rethink, and try again — the right way.

Because once you realise it… it gets so much easier.
