I’m writing like my life depends on it.

It kinda does actually.

If you want to do well with your writing, then follow the above rule: write your ass off. Sure, you can try to write for big publications and be curated, but you also need to grow your portfolio.

The more content you have, the more readers will see your not a one-time circus. You’re here to stay for the long haul.

Writing like your life depends on it is essential to wtting because it’s how you turn into a professional writer. You have fans out there ready to read your work.

They don’t want to see your posts a week or a month apart from one another. They want to see consistent content.

How does one do that?

By writing. That’s how.

Let me tell you.

Both Quality and Quantity Matter

Sure, you no doubt want your writing to be quality writing, but you also don’t want to spend two days on one piece. If you do, those two days will allow other writers to post four or five more articles.

All the while you are just publishing the one.

You can write quality writing, but have a good quantity of it. Sometimes, the latter works just as well.

Not every article you write will be the next Great American Novel, but it’s one step closer to an even better article. And the more content you have, the more your chances raise for views, reads and fans.

How exciting is that?

Everyone always says quality over quantity or vise versa. I say both go hand in hand. Sometimes one overpowers the other.

But if you write every day, then you will no doubt have both factors, and your path to success will begin to rise.

Closing Thoughts

I write every day. Like all writers should do.

However, I write my ass off because it’s another key to success with writing. Without it, I wouldn’t know where I would be.

You know you want to do well with writing, gain fans and earn some pocket change. So keep on writing and working on your craft.

At this point, it’s all you can do.

It’s what I plan to do. Happy writing!
