Where does hatred come from? Such a negative emotion towards others as to one’s own self. Why do we batter what we truly love deep down to create a getaway from the difficulties we choose not to face. Hatred can stem from a lot of places, but it falls under simple categories (this also depends on the situation and person.) we tend to complicate. From the religious perspective, hatred towards others is a sin. (I’d include even hating yourself as well is a sin.) Insecurity and doubts conjure up the worst in us all. Friends, we must love one another despite how we may feel about ourselves. I feel your pain in every way, I do. Who would want to see that reflection of us truly? The wounds we let bleed poison all the good within and throughout. Why must we batter ourselves to feel? To wrestle against our flesh and blood just to live and see a new day, a new week, a new month, a new year. Hatred stems from sadness of one’s own lacking. Why hate what you lack when you can make the effort to obtain? Truth be told, I struggle loving myself in every way. “Be patient and you’ll see.” I hear in my spirit, as the One who guides me also calms my spirit.
