How connecting with the Earth is helping people reduce stress, sleep better, and feel more balanced no gadgets required

An increasing number of people in the United States are embracing grounding, or earthing, as an easy way to improve well-being naturally. It is the act of traversing untarred natural surface such as grass, soil or sand, which has now been discovered as an appealing strategy for improving health.
Grounders believe that when touching the ground directly the body can collect electrons that may decrease inflammation, improve sleep, and boost overall immunity. Although the concept is a little bit novel, there is a stack of small studies indicating possible healthy consequences of grounding. Participants have expressed increased relaxation, better sleep, and their realization that they recover from physical activities much quicker.
Unlike the newest wellness trends that require tools, buying in, or screens, grounding is delightfully simple and costless. Take off your shoes and wind down outside for 20–30 minutes (if you’re on the lawn, in a green space, or by the shore). Those that cannot go outside can use grounding mats indoors to benefit from the same.
Living in an age when so much of our day is spent in rubber shoes and confined spaces, grounding restores awareness to those things we have forgotten. direct connection to the Earth. Grounding is an inexpensive, simple procedure that helps your body and mind to relax.
If stress or tiredness, or even a need for balance, finds its way to the front of your mind, grounding is a peaceful yet powerful introduction to reconnection.
