Father Christmastime

It was long long ago. When the kingdom of Bourgnew was in deep distress as the people of Bourgnew were not happy with their Monarch. Her Majesty Queen Ana was vicious and unkind. She was bitter and envy of other kingdoms. And each day and every moment she could take. She would try to gain power. The officials tried to reason with her. They tried to resort to civil disobedience, but Her Majesty was strong and getting stronger each day. As she promised more and more things to the Bourgnewian people if they give her more power. The officials were worried and upset at the Monarch because of her desperation for power. So the officials held secret meetings after they gave Her Majesty amp power. The officials met and they were united against Her Majesty but they felt obligated to the people of Bourgnew to provide justice. They felt it was their fault that Bourgnew was in the condition that it was in. After some time, many days and many weeks, one official came up with one idea and then another official came up with another. This happened daily and at each meeting but somehow the idea would fail. Then Odus came up with an idea, it was risky and it was challenging. Odus wanted Her Majesty Queen Ana to meet a foreign Monarch to learn from them how other kingdoms' rule so in turn she would change her heart. And she would become the Monarch that the Bourgnewian people needed and always wanted. And he unanimously convinced the officials. And they celebrated quietly and plotted that night.

Odus sought the oldest official because he knew that they work with her father. And Her Majesty had short patient although she respected knowledge and wisdom. The oldest official quoted the exact words of Odus. Odus put the words into his mouth. And the oldest official was a great politician and great orator. And Her Majesty was growing tired of his shanigans and she eventually told him to get to the point. And he reminded her of her father and how loyal and faithful he was to her. He asked her if she would considered meeting another Monarch of a foreign country. And she was thrived and impatient. She gave him no more than 30 days and reminded him to choose a prestigious leader because she had no time for ignorant fools and meaningless monarch. So the oldest official bow and left Her Majesty's presence. The officials cheered Odus in their secret meeting. And Odus became dumbfounded as he had a hard time of finding a Monarch. The officials cried at Odus saying we only have thirty days and its December. Odus was worried and promised the officials he would find someone. That night Odus had a dream, he saw this wonderland filled with childlike servants who were happy and working on toys. He saw them play in snow and laughing. He saw the King of the Wonderland. He was jolly, heavy and nice. Odus spoke to him and ask him to come to Bourgnew. And he said Father Christmastime is my name and I would love to come to Bourgnew. And the dream ended with Odus saying And meet the Queen, Her Majesty. Odus asked his servants what day it is and the servants said the 18th of December. Odus said there is still time. He wrote up a letter and stamped it with the seal of the Bourgnewian Parliament and told his servant to get there as soon as possible. Odus met the officials at the second to last meeting. And the oldest official said the Queen Her Majesty is really impatient and she might order for the heads of officials if they are trying to take away her prestige. Odus runs out of the meeting and find his servants and asked if he sought it. Then all of sought days away from Christmas, Father Christmastime stroll into town. He and his servants the elves with the huge sleigh of beautiful reindeers and it is a big parade and the Bourgnewian people are excited and celebrating. And Her Majesty the Queen orders Father Christmastime to enter her throne. The two conserving and something happens to the Queen. The Queen gains a heart and she becomes happy and jolly. She asked Father Christmastime what she should do to be like him. She calls up the treasury and began to give gifts right along with him in his sleigh. And that's how Christmastime came and ever since was celebrated in Bourgnew.
