What good is all of this knowledge
when no one listens, warnings
collapsing in the hollow caverns
of deaf ears, omens ignored
like a high school freshman
the Monday after she gave up her virginity
under the bleachers, chasing the empty
promise of a prom date.
I may as well cut out my tongue,
sew my lips together,
Better yet, pluck out my eyes,
my heart as well, and I’ll spend forever
walking the banks of the Styxx with Tiresius,
believing each other.

I'm a weirdo nerd who’s extremely subversive. I like rocks, incense, and all kinds of witchy stuff. Intrusive rhyme bothers me.
I’m known as Dena Brown to the revenuers and pollsters.
