When thinking about child development and growing children, you need to think about foods to really add into their diet. Think about essential vitamins and whole foods that are healthy. I'm Dr. Uma Naidoo. I'm a nutritional psychiatrist, brain expert and on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. Therefore, incorporating nutritious, healthy whole foods and foods at a young age becomes essential. Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, vitamin D, iron, and folate are among these food groups. It's so important to feed a healthy developing brain and a child healthy foods as well, to keep their brain development strong and their minds healthy. Additionally, the foods listed below contain these beneficial vitamins and minerals. omega-3 fatty acids found in wild-caught salmon, hemp seeds, flax seeds, and walnuts, respectively. Leafy greens, black beans, chickpeas, and edamame all contain iron and folate. Additionally, dried mushrooms and eggs contain vitamin D. By children eating these nutritious foods, their brain development will be on point, their thinking will be sharper and their minds will develop in a much better way.
