An Ideal Partner, Message To Fathers of Daughters, And To Compromise Or Not
Relationship Writing Prompts
Rupi Kaur's Relationship Writing Prompts - Describe the qualities and characteristics of your ideal partner.
Must love me and his family, laugh easily, love to ride motorcycle and the outdoors, hard worker, jack of all trades, carry me when necessary. That describes my husband. One of the most important things though is that he is in recovery from his addiction to alcohol.
He is good with our chidren, a great grandfather. Even though he doesn't believe in favorites, he has an occasional one or two. He is my ideal partner, minus his political views and lack of education. We think we can get through this however. Only time will tell.
Rupi Kaur's Relationship Writing Prompts - To fathers with daughters, I want you to know__________________.
Daughters will love you, even when you don't deserve their love.
Their male relationships will look like you. Mine have been strong, protective, hard working, and good looking, every bit like my father. They have loved me as you did. To the point I married a welder, just like my dad.
Dying young is a heartache and continues for years.
Be happy to see me grow up, my children and my still growing family. It is not realistic to expect that I will do all that you want me too.
As a baby and young girl, infatuation with my dad. As a teenage, my job is to break away to be able to start my own life separate from parents. Your job is to know this. Give guidance but don't take it personnally. You will be happy when the time comes for me to leave you.
This is usually temporary when friends are more important than family. Addiction can keep you from growing up, however.
Trust me and guide me by example. If you drink and smoke, I will try it too and may end up alcoholic too. Or have the effects of smoking to deal with. Alcoholism is a family disease.
Rupi Kaur's Relationship Writing Prompts - When is it important to you to compromise in a romantic relationship, and when is it not?
Compromise
Political races (if I have to)
Hateful faces (honey attracts more favors too)
No compromise
Domestic violence
not even once
