Why do you advocate Tesla Motors?
Explain the benefits of Tesla, share the good and bad of Tesla

Having driven Teslas and other pure electric cars, I don't think Teslas have much to offer other than their appearance.
First, although charging is cheap, charging is troublesome and, in many cases, only offsets the economic cost with the cost of time.
Second, fast acceleration is really fast, but it only works when I rarely encounter overtaking on a mountain road. Not for overtaking in town.
Third, all Settings are concentrated in the center control screen. Although it seems to have a strong sense of technology, in fact, we have been accustomed to this feeling in the process of using mobile phones. Phones and Pads first let us feel the power of technological progress, and Tesla just transplanted them to the car. And it's not as useful as a physical button.
Fourth, Tesla's best autopilot. To be honest, I didn't dare to trust my life to the car. I know that there will be a day when driverless driving will replace all drivers, but not today
Electric vehicles are the future direction of development, even now, its environmental protection is not fuel cars can match. As a luxury car in electric cars, the actual environmental protection effect of Tesla may be questionable, but the environmental protection of electric cars is indisputable in general.
It is not uncommon in human history to cause great harm to some people based on a great vision.
Tesla, or Musk's grand vision, is to replace human driving with driverless (autonomous) driving, reducing the number of car accidents that kill a million people every year. In order to achieve this vision, even if hundreds of thousands of people are killed in the process, some people think it is not a matter at all. In order to achieve long-term benefits (vision), people are willing to bear short-term pain and effort, which is the general understanding of people, I do not intend to criticize.
Tesla's technology is driven by highly developed capitalist productivity, and its essence is to pursue commercial value. Under the cover of a great vision, it is entirely possible to sacrifice, give up, or not adopt part of the safety design in some ways in order to sell more cars. Ideally, both safety and marketing needs should be taken into account, but when there is a contradiction between the two, Tesla's priority is biased towards the latter. With that in mind, it's not surprising to see both cool designs and accidents.
Actually, I'm not a big fan of Tesla, but it's true that the emergence of Tesla has changed people's perceptions, and these ways of thinking, technical characteristics, and even business logic have been learned and applied by the so-called new forces of car making. From the perspective of thinking mode and business logic, the earliest Model launched by Tesla is the Roadster, followed by the Model S and X, and the most recent Model is the Model 3. From the point of view of Tesla's product launch sequence, it starts with sports cars and mid-to-high-end models that can best show the company's technology, and gradually expands to high-volume models that can be accepted by the public. In the Roadster stage, Tesla focused entirely on displaying its brand, rather than promoting sales. However, at the stage of Model 3, Tesla has made considerable accumulation in technology, and its positioning is moderate and its price is relatively close to the people. So the Model 3 is an important vehicle to drive sales and profits for Tesla. So the previous review even mentioned that the Tesla Model 3 is an existential model for Tesla.
