The Star City Plus is a slightly more premium 110cc city bike from the Hosur-based brand. It was the first motorcycle in its segment to be equipped with a fully LED headlight.

TVS Star City Plus Engine

The Star City Plus is powered by a BS6 compliant single cylinder air-cooled and fuel injected 110cc engine generating 8.19PS at 7350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4500rpm. It works in conjunction with a 4-speed gearbox. The commuter bike continues with the same fundamentals as before: a conventional telescopic fork and two rear shocks.

A 130mm drum or 240mm petal disc brake up front and a 110mm drum in the rear bring the bike to a stop. Complying with the latest safety regulations, the bike has CBS as standard.

TVS offers the Star City Plus in two variants: Drum and Disc. Aside from the difference in brake and color schemes, the rest of the bike is the same in both variants.

TVS Star City Plus Design

The Star City Plus looks a bit more premium than its sibling, the Radeon. This is thanks to the bikini fairing, full LED headlights, chrome exhaust heat shield and a sportier color scheme. The Pearl Blue variant, in particular, has a blue passenger grab bar, while it's black on all other color versions.

All in all, its mature design will appeal to those looking for a premium looking yet affordable everyday motorcycle.

The BS6 TVS Star City Plus BS6 is priced at Rs 66,895 for the drum brake variant and Rs 69,465 for the disc brake model. The TVS Star City Plus BS6 has the distinction of being the first motorcycle to get a full LED headlight in its segment.
