Recently, Elon Musk revealed on social media that Tesla Model S Plaid will probably start delivery in China in March next year (2022). The new car, as the top version of the new Model S, has the ultimate performance, based on a three-motor all-wheel-drive structure and a maximum power of 1020PS, with 0-100km/h acceleration in just 2.1 seconds and a top speed of 322km/h.

On the exterior, although the overall outline is still a continuation of the current model, the details of the front design seem to have been borrowed from the Roadster concept car, the new surround design cancels the past stacked piece design, changed to a closed integrated design, and the bottom grille area further increased, while the two sides of the C-shaped opening to create a good sense of movement.

In addition, the new car also has a new style of wheels and tire configuration, including 19-inch storm wheels and 21-inch spider web wheels. Tesla said: the new wheels not only improve performance, while the rear tires are wider to enhance grip and output more power.

On the side, the new car is the same as the Model 3, with all the original chrome trim blacked out and a stronger overall appearance. On the rear, although the changes are not as good as the front, the bottom tail lip has been redesigned to be more aerodynamic overall. It is worth mentioning that the wind resistance coefficient of the new car is only 0.208cd.

On the interior, the new car seems to have been redesigned, with most of the changes thought to be a replacement, where the entire interior layout has a more concise design, and the center screen has been changed to a horizontal 17-inch, with a resolution of up to 2200x1300, and has higher brightness and color fidelity, while thanks to the processor upgrade, the touch response time is shorter, and supports left and right tilt angle adjustment.

The new system is also equipped with an in-car gaming system with a processor with 10 trillion floating point operations per second (comparable to PS5 level performance, can play 2077 level 3A game masterpieces) and is compatible with wireless control handle, so you can enjoy the game in any seat position.

The steering wheel is a continuation of the Roadster concept car, the overall unconventional shape seems to be similar to the aircraft rudder, extremely sci-fi (this design can only be achieved by Tesla), and touch multi-function buttons can also be retained; it is worth mentioning that the new car eliminates the abolition of the traditional steering wheel paddles, turn signals are all dependent on the steering wheel buttons to achieve.

The new concealed onboard air conditioning system supports intelligent air circulation, and comes standard with three-zone temperature control, ventilated front seats, and HEPA-efficient air filters.

The new seats have been shaped to be more ergonomic, and the rear leg and headroom have been improved to accommodate three passengers with ease and support the rear floor to achieve more trunk storage space. In addition, the new car's rear center armrest also has built-in storage and a wireless phone charging function, which can be folded and put away when not in use.

The new car is equipped with a new Bluetooth system (supporting multiple devices connected at the same time), a wireless phone charger and multiple USB-C fast charging ports as standard, and a 920W premium audio system (22 speakers and active noise cancellation).

In terms of power, the new Plaid version replaces the previous Performance version and features a three-motor all-wheel drive layout, including a 0-100km/h acceleration of 2.1s and a maximum range of 628km.
