Make Your Car Girly!
How to Make Your Car More Feminine

Want to Give Your Car a Make-over?
No one thinks twice when men want to geek out their cars, but what about the ladies? How about adding some feminine touches to make your car more girly?
Just the eyelashes in the above picture give the car a flirty, cute look. However, there's so much more you can do.
The most obvious and eye-catching way to feminize your vehicle is to paint it pink—anywhere from soft pastel to feisty hot pink. However, this isn't for everyone and there are many other options to consider.
One of the first things people notice when they look into your car are your seats. Having pretty car seat covers offers a few advantages to your vehicle. First, they protect your car seats from dirt and stains. This is especially useful if you have kids or pets.
Car seat covers also add protection from the sun, which can cause your car seats to fade over time. In addition, they help prevent holes and tears.
A steering wheel cover can be both decorative and practical. There is a wide range of colors to choose from, plus there are pretty prints like leopard and floral. There are also different textures to choose from, including fuzzy, bling (rhinestones!), and crochet.
However, there's also a very good practical reason to use a wheel cover: It protects your steering wheel from wear and tear. It also helps reduce hand fatigue, which can come in really handy if you drive a lot, especially long distances.

Replace your standard floor mats with ones that have a feminine touch. Car mats keep your carpet looking new while adding flirty flair to your floorboards.
Deciding which car mats to choose from can be the hard part, as there are so many choices available. From boho flora prints to cute pink cows, butterflies, and even sweet dog paws, you shouldn't have any problem finding something that fits your taste.
If you want to draw some real attention to your vehicle, bling it! There are so many bling products available for the interior of your car, from steering wheel covers and air vent charms, to button knob holders and seat belt shoulder pads, to name a mere sampling of products available.
For the exterior, you can use bling to bring a flashy and sparkly component to your vehicle. You can do something more discreet, like putting some on your door handles, or go bold and cover your front grill.
You can showcase some of your personality by hanging something from your rearview mirror. You might like a small, stuffed animal, a necklace, some beads, or a charm, for example.
If you prefer something more constructive, this would be a great place to hang an air freshener. The scent can also add to the girly experience of your car, depending on the scent you choose.
I personally like dream catchers. Not only do I find them to be beautiful, but I also love the Native American concept behind them, as to how they keep bad dreams away. Whatever you choose, just be sure it doesn't impede your vision in any form.
Windshield sunshades make for great protection for your dashboard. They block direct sunlight and the sun's UV rays. If your dashboard gets overly exposed to these rays, it can crack.
Lots of companies make these, so there's a good variety to choose from, including florals, pastels, butterflies, and even Minnie Mouse!

Check out how beautifully the wheels go with the vehicle above. Car wheels are an excellent way to add an attractive look to the exterior of your car or truck.
You can also add some girly car decals. They're both inexpensive and pretty and can help reveal a bit of your personality.
A license plate frame is a way to add a ladylike touch to your vehicle. There are lots of styles available in different colors, prints, and textures. If you have something in particular in mind but can't find it, there are companies that make customized plate frames where you can pick the color, design, font, etc.
Be sure to know what size you need. Most standard frames are 6" x 12." You also need to check with your state as to what is legally allowed, as different states have different laws when it comes to license plate frames.
As you can see, there are many ways to girly up your car from subtle to flashy, most not costing much money. It really boils down to your taste and imagination to find the right accessories to create the best feminine vehicle for you.

This is such a fun piece!
I never thought about girly floor mats before, but now I need butterfly ones.
I love this, Janis. From the eyelashes to the floor mates, I just love the way you decorated your car. The steering wheel and the shifter are great. --- Nicely Done!!!
Such cute suggestions! Sadly, my shared car situation means my husband would probably remove anything pink within 24 hours 😂 This reminded me of my first car. I had Betty Boop car seat covers, floor mats and steering wheel!
I'm not a girly girl, so I don't want anything bling, flashy, or sparkly. But I'm not a tomboy either. On a scale of girly to tomboy, girly being 1 and tomboy being 10, I'm a 7. My style is minimalistic. But I do agree on seat covers and steering wheel cover. They do offer a lot of protection!
I really liked the eyelashes and the pink jeep. Very impressive, as is your unique story, which is beautifully and lovingly written :))
