I believe that there is a difference between a house and a home. While not everybody may have a house, I feel that everybody has a home. A place where you feel most like yourself. Your safe place to go where you don't have to worry about anything. A place where you can let go of everything and just live. You're free here and the emotions you experience from being there make you feel like you can do anything. You can overcome fears or do something you never thought you would. Do things you love doing over and over again. A place where you can say, “This is where I'm supposed to be” and not doubt it for a second. Somewhere that has made such a big impact on your life. A place so close to your heart that its coordinates are stamped onto your jewelry.

There is so much to do here. I can simply sit on my favorite bench and people watch. I can see ordinary people transform into incredible green monsters. I can witness dinosaurs alive and well again. There are trains high in the sky and down on the ground. I watch as dragons duel through the sky to see which is superior. People entering old mythological temples only to get trapped in them by a curse. However, I could also experience all that this place has to offer. I can unwillingly forfeit my soul over to a mummy. I'm capable of entering and escaping a magical bank. I can become an honorary galaxy defender. I could help bring an extra terrestrial creature back to his home planet. Even become a part of a music video at 65 miles per hour.

Something that makes this place even more special is that I can go here with people who have changed my life. Someone who helped me to be brave enough to forfeit my soul over to that mummy. A friend who made me believe I had enough courage to duel with those dragons. A special person who showed me it's okay to be nervous. Though they all made a different change to me, they shaped who I am now. I can be at this place with these people and know that I'll be happy with whatever we decide to do. This is because I'm at my favorite place with my favorite people. They are people who i can go on crazy adventures with. We could win dinosaur themed game shows together. Become a part of top secret organization to convince people that we are alone on this planet. We can go to a school of magic with each other. There is so many things to do here with these incredibly special people. Just being there together and being happy is something I truly believe to be an exceptional thing.

There is an infinite amount of things to say about this special place, but somehow you always end up at a loss for words. Only because you don't think any words could really do it justice. When people tell you to go to your happy place, this is where you come. It's a place where all of your best memories happen. The place where you want all of your best memories to be. That even in 25 years, you can still say the same things about it. It's the one thing you hope will never change. A safe place to land when you just want to let go. Where you are always happy no matter what. Somewhere that makes your heart so full. Your very own place to call home.
