New York City. A place of dazzling lights, bright-eyed open dreams and home to the world of possibility. All these cliche sayings are so true through. I must say on the two occasions of my travels that have brought me across the seas from Australia to this bejewelled part of the world has never fallen short of my expectations.
1: Stardust Diner

So we have all been to a restaurant, you sit down in a quiet place with your friends and family amongst a bunch of strangers and have a civilised meal together. Well, Stardust diner is exactly that but with a splendid hardworking waitressing cast of singers, dancers and performers. Stardust Diner replaces the simple candlelight with neon lights and confetti cannons!
The waiters dance on chairs and soak in the limelight. Their playlist of songs is endless featuring Disney classics broadway icons and even radio songs from artist such as Greenday! The waiters get to pick and choose the songs they would like to rock out to as they entertain and serve your plate! Not only is Stardust Diner a fun and friendly environment for those of all ages but the diner also supports the performing arts and broadway community as each of the waiters aspire to be on broadway and use their extra cash tips to pay for dance, singing and acting classes to help their journey to the big stage!
2: Broadway
Broadway is like the Westend of America and for those who don't know what either of those things is, it is a street/area that has multiple theatres in the one location. Broadway is known for its iconic musicals such as hamilton, dear even Hansen, wicked and many more. This is where musicals become famous!
There are plenty of ways to get tickets on discount or cheaper, also there is a wide range of different cost for broadway tickets. Off-Broadway is also an alternative to Broadway shows that are of a slightly less high standard and status but are as equally entertaining, that may be a cheaper option!
3: Brooklyn Bridge and New York View (my special place)

If your gonna do Brooklyn bridge and see New York City in all its glory you must visit Empire Fulton Fairy Park, located in Brooklyn, in the Dumbo neighbourhood. I suggest to get there is for you to take the underground subway that goes under the water to Brooklyn and then make your way to Empire Fulton Fairy Park.
This area is so flourishing and green within the warmer months and makes it the perfect place to get your picture in front of the iconic bridge. Once you have finished taking photos you can make your way to the bridge and even have an ice cream that is on the pier near the entrance of the bridge.
4: Times Square
Times Square is amazing! It is a really good place to get some iconic photos from your trip, it is also a good place to have your shopping spree. I suggest that the best time to go is NOT during peak hours which is normally between 7:00 am - 8:00 am and 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm but even out of these times it an still be packed with people.
5: Central Park

Central Pak is simply beautiful I suggest seeing the park in its full luscious green glory in the summertime or even in the spring when the weather is a bit cooler. The park is rather large, and it is impossible to miss. I suggest visiting the Alice in wonderland statue which is also located near the Hans Christian Anderson statue. If your a fan of the Friends TV show you can see the beautiful fountain which is called Cherry Hill Fountain. For those who are fans of the Beatles, the John Lennon Memorial is a must! There is always a person from the Beatles foundation that plays acoustic guitar and sings in tribute, they are really nice to chat two and always encourages people to sing along if they know the tune and is really a good place to pay tribute to such an amazing artist.
