Castle Howard – Yorkshire

Castle Howard is a stately home in the English county of North Yorkshire. This beautiful estate has been home to the Howard family for over 300 years and is one of the grandest private residences in Britain.

Malbork Castle – Poland

Malbork is the world's largest castle in terms of surface area, as well as Europe's largest brick structure. The Teutonic Knights built it in Prussia in the style of an Ordensburg fortress. The castle is a classic example of a mediaeval fortress and, when completed in 1406, was the largest brick castle in the world.

Neuschwanstein Castle – Germany

It is a Romanesque Revival palace built in the nineteenth century on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. This castle was built as a personal refuge for Ludwig II of Bavaria. Neuschwanstein opened to the paying public after his death in 1886, and it has since had over 60 million visitors.
