Europe has a lot of hidden gems in the various countries that the continent is made of. People from all over the world love visiting European countries to relax and have the times of their lives!

One such country in Europe is Austria. Austria is a beautiful and peaceful country consisting of some of the most loving and warm people. Austria is located in the Southern Part of Central Europe. The capital of Austria is Vienna which is also the largest city in the country.

When you are in Austria, there are a lot of things you can see and a lot of activities that you can take up.

A few of these tourist spots are the Schonbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, The Hofburg, the Grossglockner, Vienna State Opera, Mirabell Palace, the Prater, Fortress Hohensalzburg and Wachau.

You can also visit casinos, amusement parks, go skiing, witness their art and culture, see some amazing museums and visit some of the best places for nature loving people.

You can visit the various snow mountains and go skiing there or climb the mountain with guided tours. You should also visit the Kinny Waterfall and see some of the most spectacular views that you cannot find anywhere else!

There are a few things that you know before visiting Austria.

1) Do not ever be late

One thing that people of Austria hate the most is anyone being late anywhere. If you are about to meet a friend of yours who resides in Austria, make sure to reach on time as they will not like it if you are late for the meeting. The people of Austria value their and other’s time a lot and you should make sure you do too!

2) Greet nicely when you meet

Austrians are very warm and friendly people. They like it when you show gestures like you really want to spend time with them. You should always say hi and ask them about their health when you meet them. This way they feel like you value them and actually want to build a relationship with them.

3) You should try their desserts

Now that you have met everyone and seen all their amazing tourist spots, it’s time for a good meal. A good meal is followed by Austrian desserts and we bet you would not get better desserts anywhere else in the world than in Austria. You should also make sure to try their croissants that are invented by them and world famous.

4) Local language

Austrians speak a different kind of German that is known as Osterreichisches Deutsch. If you are good with languages make sure to learn a few words of their language here and there as the majority speaks in their native language. This will help you to communicate better with the local people.

One of the most happening nightlife you can experience in the world is here in Austria. The nightlife of Vienna is something that will be the highlight of your trip and something that will give you abundant drunk memories that you surely will not forget when you wake up the next day!

Austria is filled up of mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and other natural beauties. If you are here for a trip, make sure to visit all the natural tourist attractions as it will be the best thing you can do for yourself. You will feel calm and relaxed after watching the prettiest sunset here in Austria!

Austria is a huge country and to tour the entire country, it is going to take you quite a while. You need to plan your itinerary well in advance to make sure how many days you need in what cities. On an approx., you will need around 18 days to tour all the major cities in Austria. This, your itinerary should be prepared well before you leave for your trip.

8) Avoid Sundays

Sundays are a day of rest for Austrians and they take their day off very seriously. In almost all places you visit in Austria on Sunday, you will find the ‘closed’ board as all major businesses and activities are shut on Sundays. If your itinerary falls on a Sunday too, just check that day off to rest and rejuvenate at your hotel room.
