Guard of the dark forest

The village of Dankokunku found in the outcast of Sambasumbu region in a small country name the Gambia in Africa was known for its mystics and dark forest. it was believed to be a land that no man can build a home in for the famous guardian of the dark forest named "Saburjaga" meaning "the nose that smells a soul from a thousand mile away and the only person the guard will gives access to will be a female warrior that is gonna be born with a gift in her hands that's the key to removing the darkest from the village of dankokunko, centuries went by but no child was born with any form of gift in their hands so the village had no hope of ever occupying that village after losing so many lives in attempt to settle there.

This reason made the land one that no one ever visited for centuries apart from the rumours that was told about some Tubas(white men) who visited the the Gambia twenty-seven years ago and wanted to purchase the land but the chief of that region told them about the stories of abandoned village but the tubas insisted that that's where they wanted and they don't believe in mystics. The chief finally told them that they can have the land for free and that the only requirement was if they succeeded in building anything there the village owns twenty percent of it. both parties came into a mutual agreement. The toubas embarked on the journey to the village of dankokunku and no one heard from them again.

Rumor started spreading about what happened to them, so said they died on the way because they guard smelled them a thousand miles away and send his winds to kill them, other said they got into the dark forest and never made it out but no one was certain because none of the villagers ever come a thousand miles close to the village of dankokunku. years later and everybody forgot about them because it was now obvious that they didn't succeed in the pursuit.

The people of the Sambasumbu region completely refrain from even mentioning anything relating to the village of Dankokunku like it never existed but little did they know what was about to happen sooner than later. There was a mad woman in the village mysteriously got pregnant and no one claimed the baby nor did anyone try to give her a place to stay or put her under mental care. one quiet and dark night a loud scream echoed throughout the region and every where shook, trees fell and houses crumbled because of the gravity of the noise that took everyone by surprise, young and old rushing towards the noise saw a very bright light coming from the river bank and when they got there they saw the mad woman laying unconscious with a child next to her that was a big as a three year old baby holding a small black book with so much light coming from it , it could almost blind your eyes if you look at it for long.

Everyone at that venue realized that this was the special one they have been waiting for for years. Mother and child were both taken in because the village realized that the woman they neglected was now the key to their fears. After a week for the child naming ceremony the whole village escorted the child to the dark forest of dankokunku where the light from the book eliminated the darkness and the great guard crumbled in the pieces and once a feared and dark place was now covered with light. The bodies of the tubas were found and a silver bag covered with dust was found next to them, filled with blueprints and $20,000(equivalent of 1 million dalasis) the money was given to the once mad woman who was now cured after giving birth to the special child. She moved to the city and bought a home there and named a special daughter "dankokunko". thirty years later dankokunko went back to the village of dankokunko and became the ruler and forth in various battles and died at the age of 109.
