Dear Diary,

What a wonderful day it's been here in Cornwall! Amy, Millie, and I decided to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and treat ourselves to a girls trip, and it's been absolutely magical.

We started our day with a delicious breakfast at a quaint little cafe. The eggs benedict were to die for, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was just what we needed to kickstart our day's adventures ahead. The sun was shining, and we were buzzing with excitement for the day ahead.

After breakfast, we embarked on a scenic walk to Lantivet Bay. The coastal path was breathtaking, with stunning views of the rugged cliffs and turquoise waters below. When we finally reached the bay, we couldn't resist taking a dip in the cove. The water was chilly at first, but once we got in, it was so refreshing.

I had brought along a giant inflatable orange slice, and we decided it was the perfect accessory for our ocean adventure. With squeals of excitement, we inflated it and carried it down to the water. Climbing aboard our fruity vessel, we paddled out into the cove, the orange slice bobbing on the gentle waves. It was pure joy, floating on the sparkling sea, the sun warm on our faces and the salty breeze in our hair. We laughed as we tried to balance on our citrus raft, feeling carefree and alive in that moment. It was a memory I knew I'd treasure forever, the three of us adrift on the ocean, our laughter echoing off the cliffs as we soaked up the magic of Cornwall.

After our swim, we made our way back to our accommodation, a charming cottage with a hot tub overlooking the countryside. We poured ourselves some Pimms and settled into the warm bubbling water, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature. It was pure bliss, soaking in the hot tub with my best friends, sipping on our drinks and sharing stories.

As the afternoon turned into evening, the warm water of the hot tub was hard to leave, but eventually, we peeled ourselves away and got ready for dinner. We slipped into our favourite summer dresses, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated from our time in the tub. The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the countryside as we made our way to a nearby cosy pub. The aroma of hearty Cornish cuisine greeted us as we stepped inside, but instead of opting for indoor seating, we decided to enjoy the evening air and sat at a picnic bench outside. As we settled in, the sky painted with hues of orange and pink, we savoured the comforting flavours of fish and chips. The crispy batter and tender fish paired perfectly with the salty sea air, creating a meal to remember. It was a perfect end to an unforgettable day in Cornwall, surrounded by good food, great company, and the beauty of nature.

Now, as I write this entry, I can't help but feel grateful for this day and for the wonderful friends I have. Cornwall has truly captured our hearts, and I know we'll cherish these memories forever.
