Spring 'Session' in the City!
Making the Most Out of the Season

Spring has finally sprung!
What better way to celebrate than to get out and enjoy the city. Hopefully you got a chance to get out and vote on election day, April 2nd, to make your voice heard. Being vocal can set a positive tone for the season as well.
Another activity to get the ball rolling for this spring 'session' a.k.a. season is finding your favorite places to eat or visit and then hit them up with friends this summer.
Let's start by making a "My 2019 Spring Bucket List/ Hangout Agenda". You can shorten or lengthen it to include whatever you want!
We'll start by picking activities for the artsy, food hangouts and lastly outdoor hot-spots.
Artistic
Unleash your artsy side by visiting one of these places for the spring: Lyric Opera House or the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Take in a good musical or hear some good music at either one of these hot spots in the city. The best part is, they have events all-year. So you can plan a visit for any weather.
Foodie Alert
Did somebody say BBQ? Trying a BBQ joint like Green Street Smoked Meats will spring you into summer BBQ trends in style. If you're going to be eating delicious BBQ all the way in to summer you're going to want to be prepared. Getting your homework in now is sure to be delicious.
Looking for a new spot to anchor into? Carnivale, in Chicago, has a Latin flair and has good reviews as an exciting new space for any weather, and especially a spring fling.
Add traditional eateries and places to your agenda and don't be shy about trying a new place. Doing your homework in the Windy City with the best restaurants in the U.S. can be so delicious and so rewarding!
Outdoor Spring Fling
Let's get active and tour the city! Take a walk and sightsee downtown. Walking is a budget friendly activity that is kid-friendly and can be quite relaxing. You can also see new places to visit! There's no shame in adding low-budget or free activities to the mix! It is all about balance. Also, get fit, do your best research, and go light on your budget all in one glorious shot.
So go ahead and get your list started! With the weather warming up, your Spring Agenda Bucket List is sure to be a hit.
Let me know if you have any places to visit that are a must try!
A.P.
