Prague In My Eyes

A Photo Essay

By Katerina PetrouPublished 11 months ago Updated 11 months ago 1 min read

Everybody can see their beauty, but it looks different in every pair.

I would long to see how this woman captured her beauty in a way a man never could.

It did not make sense. Its presence out of place. Though, who are we to decide what makes sense when we have made it all up?

She did not expect to be here. Perhaps it is better than where she would have been. Where she could have been. Where she is going.

Who is to say it is not their world?

They knew I could not afford a thing. I say, inspiration is far more valuable to a dreamer than anything I could have purchased.

There is so much inexplicable natural beauty on this planet. Why do we keep building on top of it?

The parts of your soul that have died are now lined in gold. Let them shine. Oh, let them shine!

How romantic we make another person’s journey.

What are they speaking off - the two young boys? This museum, is it just another playground?

Tourists doing tourist things. Oh, we’re just having a bit of fun in this dark world.

One person’s every day is another’s beginning.

Yes, I was scared. I just wanted to feel on top of something.

It is there, somewhere in the distance. I really believe it is.

When I see an open door, I see myself walking through it - smiling on the other side.

She took over the room, and she was not even real.

Do you know where you are going? Do any of us?
