Tower of London:

On the north bank of the River Thames in the heart of London, you can find the medieval fortress and royal residence known as the Tower of London. The White Tower, the Crown Jewels, and the renowned ravens are also located there.

Buckingham Palace:

The official house of the British Queen, Buckingham Palace, is situated in London's City of Westminster. It is one of the city's most recognizable monuments and a well-liked tourist destination.

The Changing of the Guard event, which takes place outside the palace gates at 11:00 am every day during the summer and every other day during the winter, makes Buckingham Palace famous. A marching band and guard exchange between the Queen's Guard and the New Guard are part of the ritual.

During the summer, when the Queen is not residing there, you may visit Buckingham Palace and tour the State Rooms. There are paintings by painters like Rembrandt, Rubens, and Canaletto in the opulently adorned State Rooms.

Tickets can be bought online or at the royal gates, and Buckingham Palace is accessible to the public from July to September.

British Museum:

The history, art, and culture of humanity are the focus of the British Museum, a museum in London. It is one of the most prominent museums in the world, with a collection of more than eight million items, and is situated in the city's Bloomsbury neighborhood.

The Rosetta Stone, an ancient Egyptian artifact that assisted scientists in deciphering hieroglyphics, the Elgin Marbles, a collection of classical Greek sculptures, and the Sutton Hoo ship burial, a group of Anglo-Saxon valuables are just a few of the highlights of a trip to the British Museum. Along with galleries showcasing artwork from all around the world, the museum also features galleries devoted to historical civilizations, including ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome.

The British Museum is free to attend and open every day from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm; however, some special exhibitions may charge a fee. You may also join a class or lecture or take a guided tour to learn more about the museum's holdings.

The Tate:

A museum of modern art called The Tate Modern is situated in London. One of the world's largest museums of modern and contemporary art, it is located in the old Bankside Power Station. The museum's collection contains pieces by Picasso, Warhol, and Hockney, as well as pieces by more recent, up-and-coming artists.

Each gallery of the Tate Modern is devoted to a distinct subject or era in art history. Ai Weiwei and Anish Kapoor have used the Turbine Hall, a sizable space, for large-scale installations. Other highlights of a visit to the museum include the Switch House, which has a collection of international contemporary art, and the Blavatnik Building, which houses the museum's collection of modern and contemporary art from 1900 to the present.
