No One Will Ever Save You

No one and nothing can.

You get out of bed and look in the mirror. Messy hair. Puffy eyes. Pale skin with traces of dried tears. What a sad sight in the morning. Physically exhausted. Emotionally drained. But the show must go on.

You must live. For yourself.

You are not the strongest soldier, but life always loves to throw curves.

You have anger in your eyes. People treat you badly, but you hate yourself for not being able to stand up. You want to be blunt, but at the same time you’re not ready to show parts of yourself that people aren’t ready to face.

You choose peace, dealing with your own emotions, sometimes blaming and denying their existence. And when you can no longer hold it in, you let the tears escape.

You work so hard to keep the peace around you, but you are always at war with your mind. You are wise, but you have never been wise to yourself. People put so many things on you, when all you want is to not feeling numb.

You write love letters to yourself because no one will write them for you. You give yourself a steady love that you have never received. You whisper comforting words to yourself that you wish to hear. You go to the coffee shop alone because you are too tired to ask people.

You empathize with many people. You make people around you feel seen, but they fail to understand you.

You are drowning again and again and no one comes to save you because they are also busy saving their own lives.

You are completely on your own.

No one and nothing can save you, but you have yourself.

You will be fine. You will stop questioning your worth. You will stop chasing down your past. You will find a way to live your unlived life.

You will grow and make room for your grief.

Your love for your life will also grow beautifully.

You will have a memory garden full of experiences that have shaped you. You will water each of them gently. You will treat them as your children. You will kiss them, hug them, give equal love to each of them.

You will alive. You will find your spark again.

You will be okay.

I am rooting for you :)
