My first solo trek around Everest Region.
Everest Base Camp Short Trek

For many years I am planning to travel alone around the top of the world's so-called Mt. Everest Region. As I am from the Himalayan Nation, Nepal I have the right to travel around. With this thought, I am planning a solo trek to Everest Base Camp. After a long discussion with my parents finally, they allow me to solo trek. I have planned my solo trek so I have done my every package ready and short discussion about the trekking routes with the travel company too. After surfing a lot about the solo trek I found out that Everest Base Camp Short Trek is beneficial for me as per the guidance of the travel company too as it only lasts for 5-7 days. The trekking company has provided me with a travel guide who helps me out in my daily trekking route and followed till accomplishment.
Everest Base Camp Short Trek Experiences:
I'm glad that I had a good experience on the Everest Base Camp Short Trek! The base camp trek was a popular and challenging route that takes us through the beautiful landscapes of the Solu-Khumbu region of Nepal, including the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The trek offers stunning views of the Himalayan mountains, including Mt. Everest, the highest peak in the world.
It is a physically demanding trek that requires a good level of fitness and preparation, but the sense of accomplishment and the beautiful views make it all worth it.
During the trek, we passed through small villages, forests, and high passes, and we had the opportunity to experience the local culture and meet the friendly Sherpa people too. We had options to stay in tea houses or lodges along the way, which offer basic accommodation and meals. The trek typically takes about 5-7 days to complete, depending on our pace and any acclimatization breaks might take.
On our way, we were going through the view of army camps and barracks where our Nepal Army is working for our safety and to protect our motherland, Nepal.
The Everest Base Camp Trek takes us closer to the highest peak of the world located in Nepal, Mount Everest with both walks and peregrine views through a Heli flight tour. The encounter with the ancient and unique Sherpa Village, the lifestyles, traditions, and cultures of its inhabitants is also the center of attraction where we were welcomed in a friendly way. The mesmerizing view of the highest mountains which were eight thousand plus height peaks including Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho Oyo, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Lhotse Shar was amazing and awe-inspiring too. Along with the Himalayas' stunning beauty, this region was home to numerous UNESCO-listed natural wonders to visit. Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal, grows abundantly here, and so do endangered bird and animal species were preserved.
The best time to visit Everest Region is the seasons like spring and autumn, which implies the months of, March, April, May, September, October, and November. During these months, the weather and climate remain crystal clear and the overall outlook remains more visible and accurate. As we were trekking in October the weather and surrounding view were unforgettable, the Himalayan ranges look stunning and a scenic view was in front of us. There are lots of places to explore during spring in Nepal too.
I have mentioned about my first experience of altitude sickness was not good but this time I cared about Altitude Sickness and follow every single steps to get out of it. Then without any interruption, I completed my short trek to Everest Base Camp.
For the year 2023, I am planning to do a Helicopter Tour in Nepal. Thank you Nepal trek adventures for guiding me on my solo trek and thank you to your Travel guide too for making my trek full of happiness and wonders.
I hope this gives you a general idea of what to expect on the Everest base camp trek. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask or you can visit Nepal Trek Adventures for more details about every possible place to travel in Nepal.
