One of my absolute favourite ways to elevate my energy and get in the vibe of the life I truly desire is by watching travel Youtubers!

Now with the access to technology that we have these days, anyone can be a travel Youtuber- which is brilliant. I love it. It’s a great opportunity for people to explore a career path and/or hobby that they can monetise that they may not have been able to in the past. It’s one of the many reasons I actually love the advancements in technology.

Here are some of my favourite creators on Youtube. Some are predominantly travel, whilst others are a mix of travel and lifestyle. Regardless, they bring a unique cinematic experience to the site which you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home for free!

Nicki Positano:

Positano-based Nicki is an absolute treat to watch on Youtube. She’s an English make-up artist sharing what life is like living in Positano on the Amalfi Coast with her family and friends. Everyone that appears in the videos are just as cool and lovable as she is. My personal favourites are her dogs, Indi and Holly, who definitely have personalities of their own. Whilst the channel isn’t typically “travel”, every day feels like a holiday when watching her videos!

Kylie Flavell:

Similar to Nicki, Kylie is based in Italy. When I first came across her videos, I was obsessed with the cinematography and editing of her videos. She creates stunning videos of life in Italy, including sharing recipes, her experiences renovating homes in Tuscany, as well as her trips to other gorgeous locations in Italy and beyond. Watching Kylie’s videos are an experience. It’s like watching a proper TV show- except it’s all done by one person…which in my eyes, makes it even more incredible.

Lostleblanc:

I’ve been watching Christian’s channel for years now and it gets better and better (even when you think it’s impossible). Back in the day, Christian quit his job to travel the world, sharing his adventures on Youtube. Fast-track to the present day where he’s built an empire through his love of filmmaking and travel. Most of his content is focused on travel in Asia, but there’s always something for everybody. If you’re keen on cheesy dad jokes and puns? This is the channel for you! The cinematics are unreal and he’s definitely one of my inspirations when it comes to travel filmmaking. His videos are in-depth, packed with information about the locations traveled.

Nate and Kara:

Another favourite travel dominant Youtube. Nate and Kara have visited a wide variety of locations and had numerous experiences- many you probably didn’t think were possible. They’re unafraid of trying something new and offer something for everyone. Their videos are super informative, super engaging and super entertaining! They set out on a plan to visit 100 countries before their 30th birthdays, and did just right before the pandemic hit! From there, they adapted by buying a van and driving through the USA!

Dejashu:

Okay, but I randomly found Shu’s channel and it actually inspired a story idea for me! Anyway, back to the incredible Shu. She is absolutely amazing. She’s funny, intelligent, kind and ridiculously talented. How her channel doesn’t have more subscribers is actually beyond me. Seriously, check it out and make sure you subscribe! She has a great mix of content, especially if you’re interested in food tours!

Laura Reid:

I absolutely love Laura’s content. Her content is absolutely beautiful. The cinematography is unmatched. Her videos are packed with information about everything you need to know- where to go, things to expect, the pricing of things like hotel rooms all the way to the general price of food in the area. She also shares lifestyle content and has her own travel fashion line which I recommend you check out!

Tim & Fin:

My most recent Youtube find, but holy macaroni: their content is absolutely UNREAL! It’s literally a travel TV show. The cinematography is *chef’s kiss*. The information they share is so helpful. I really want to write more but I don’t think the words will do them justice- watch them. Now. Thank-me later!

Kamber Izam:

I couldn’t create this list without mentioning Croatian youtuber (and travel genius), Branimir. He explores part of Croatia and south-east Europe in ways that the average travel vlogger doesn’t. He doesn’t just scratch the surface. His videos share locations that are off the beaten track for the average person, travelling to smaller localities around the country that aren’t just Hvar, Split and Dubrovnik. When he does go to these places, he shares stories that you haven’t heard of before. I definitely recommend his channel if you’re looking to travel to Croatia!

TopJaw:

Alright, these guys were an edited adjustment and honestly, I am so disappointed that I completely forgot to add them! These guys are your go-to foodie travellers. They're flippin' hilarious. The videos are packed with all the info you need. The cinematics are just...they're next level. Seriously, check.them.out.

I really enjoyed sharing this list with you and hope that you find at least one Youtuber that you can start watching!

Let me know: who’s your favourite travel youtuber?
