My Favorite Vacation Spot

A word traveler I am not. I have been a few places and, I have to tell you by far Vegas is one of my favorite places I have been. The first time I went was 3 years ago. It was such an exciting time. My husband and I married there during that trip. Our family and friends joined us there and we exchanged vows at the Little White Chapel. We stayed at the Stratosphere Casino , Hotel & Tower. The unique thing about the Stratosphere is that it is the tallest building in Vegas. If you are a thrill seeker you can bungee jump off the top of the building. There is also a rollercoaster you can ride.

We visited Counts Kustoms and Pawn Stars while we where there. Of course we gambled and gambled some more. That is the main reason why most people go to Vegas in the first place. I discovered that I love gambling, I didn't win anything big, but the point was to have fun. And so we did. The thing about gambling is just like the song says " You gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold them, know when to walk away ,and know when to run."

The first time I saw the strip I thought it was beautiful and amazing . Besides the gambling there are countless buffets . There are magic shows and, burlesques shows and, comedy shows. You will stay entertained during your visit there. Of course you can't go to Vegas without checking out the Fremont Street Experience. Fremont Street is the most famous street in Los Vegas Valley. It is home to one of the strangest restaurant in the world. Heart Attack Grill, where they have naughty nurses who will spank you for not eating all your food. And trust me I went there, and you will not eat it all. I ran away and escaped before I could be spanked.

Besides Heart Attack Grill there are lots of attractions on Fremont Street, and trust you will see some sights. Casinos, gift shops and different restaurants to name a few. There are different concerts and shows along the street. Vegas also offers exotic racing cars at SPEEDVEGAS, you can dine in the dark at the Blackout Dinning and ,Red Rock Canyon is beautiful. It is just a place to go and make lots of memories. That's what vacation is all about. I have been twice and plan to go many more times.

We will be returning to Vegas next year. On this next trip I hope we can take the Grand Canyon Tour. There are actually two ways that you can see the Grand Canyon. There is a tour that leaves from the Strip. You'll get on a tour bus and ride there and visit the Grand Canyon. You can also take a helicopter ride. When you take the ride you see get a view over the city as well as the Grand Canyon. There is also a High Roller Ferris Wheel that you can ride. If you have ever rode the Ferris Wheel at the State Fair of Texas just imagine the size of it being 4 times larger. That's how I compare the size, and boy does it look fun. Fountains of Bellagio have shows, Caesar Palace is one of my favorite casinos on the strip. It is beautiful. And there are many things to do there that I have not done the next time we get to go on an adventure to Los Vegas.
