Itinerary for Buran Ghati Trek

Day 1: Shimla to Janglik
- Altitude: 2,800 m
- Drive: 160 km | 9-10 hrs
Drive through scenic hill roads to reach Janglik, a quaint village that marks the beginning of your trek.
Day 2: Janglik to Dayara Thatch
- Altitude: 3,400 m
- Trek: 4 km | 5-6 hrs
Trek through lush forests and alpine meadows to reach Dayara Thatch, a beautiful campsite with panoramic views.
Day 3: Dayara Thatch to Litham
- Altitude: 3,600 m
- Trek: 5-6 km
Continue your trek through pristine landscapes, heading towards Litham, a serene spot perfect for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day and Visit to Chandranahan Lake
- Altitude: 4,023 m
- Trek: 4 km each way | 6-7 hrs
Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude with a visit to Chandranahan Lake, known for its crystal-clear waters.
Day 5: Litham to Dhunda
- Altitude: 4,000 m
- Trek: 4-5 km | 3-4 hrs
Trek to Dhunda, a high-altitude campsite where you can enjoy stunning views of surrounding peaks and valleys.
Day 6: Dhunda to Munirang via Buran Ghati Pass
- Munirang Campsite: 3,400 m
- Buran Ghati Pass: 4,550 m
- Trek: 8 km | 10-11 hrs
Cross the challenging Buran Ghati Pass, one of the trek's highlights, offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks.
Day 7: Munirang to Barua Village & Drive to Shimla
- Altitude: 2,300 m
- Trek: 5-6 km | 2-3 hrs
Descend through lush forests to Barua Village, where you'll complete the trek and then drive back to Shimla.
