INSPIRING FAIRYTALES
MY TOP 5 PLACES THAT REMIND YOU OF YOUR CHILDHOOD STORIES

I don't know if it is just me, but there is something that has always interested me and that is stories, and if I was to be more in-depth fairytale. I grew up with things like Snow White, Cinderella and of course, my favourite the Little Mermaid and I feel like if I had known what love was at the time, it would be compared to falling in love for the very first time.
Fairytales are a part of our childhood and we all love them. But what if you can see the real places where these stories took place? Well, they are a little bit fictional, but what if we could take a trip to the places where these stories are set, these stories are written, and these stories have inspired. This is not just an idea: in this post, we will show you some fairytale locations that exist and they might be near your home or travel destination.

Germany: One of the most beautiful places to visit for fairytale fans is Germany. The famous Brothers Grimm were from this country, and it is where many classic fairy tales originated. You can visit towns such as Kassel, which was home to Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, or Hamelin, which was the town that inspired the story of the pied piper. There is also the famous Disney Princess Castle in the town of Neuschwanstein, which was created by King Ludwig II.

Italy: If you’re looking to visit a place with a fairytale-like setting that is steeped in history, then Italy is the perfect destination for you. The country is home to some of the oldest and most well-known cities and places, which makes the whole places feel as if you are walking through a fairytale, but the place that you must see is the city of Venice. The city is built on a series of canals and islands, which makes it look like something out of a storybook. More especially we have the place of Collodi Where are our puppet became a real boy.

Norway: If you are looking for an adventure then Norway is the place to go. Not only does the country have some amazing landscapes that will take your breath away, but it is also the home of the troll, a creature which often appears as a villain in our childhood stories. Travelling and exploring the cities and countryside will definitely feel like you are living in a fairytale especially if you have recently watched Frozen.

France, of course, some of the well-known fairytales are based in France, including Sleeping Beauty and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Traveling here will definitely give you that fairytale feels, especially if you are visiting Paris. Rouen In France might remind you of Beauty and the Beast. The city is home to a number of beautiful buildings and the winding streets will make you feel like you are in another world. If you want to visit Sleeping Beauty’s castle, then head over to Disneyland Paris where it can be found in Fantasyland.

Lastly, special mention to England, more importantly, London as the city is home to many fairytale locations. For example, if you are a fan of Alice in Wonderland then head over to Kensington Gardens where you can find the Peter Pan statue.
Thank you so much for reading this, I hope you found it interested, of course, there are so many places I have missed, but I would be going on forever if I tried to write them all done. Thanks again, and safe travels to wherever you may find yourself.
