PopStroke Myrtle Beach

Tiger Woods-backed PopStroke, a miniature golf course, is set to join the vast array of courses in Myrtle Beach, transforming it into the "Mini Golf Capital of the World." 36 putting holes, an arcade, a play area, and a restaurant will all be included in the 10,000-square-foot facility. With TaylorMade as a partner, computerized iPutt balls will be used for scoring.

A Classic of Myrtle Beach

The FedEx Cup regular season on the PGA TOUR will feature the four-year competition from May 9–12, 2024. The winner will receive $300 FedEx Cup points in addition to the $3.9 million reward. Players from the professional golf circuit's global stage are expected to attend the event.

Fishing Pier at Surfside Beach

Just half of the Surfside Beach Fishing Pier was left standing after Hurricane Matthew caused significant damage. A new pier has since been planned, although delays in opening have been caused by safety code violations. Perry's Bait and Tackle Shop and Drippy's Ice Cream have signed contracts to open in the spring of 2024. The Surfside Beach town council and pier committee would want a food and beverage business to be housed in the remaining vacant building, so they have issued a request for proposals to gauge interest in it.

Cherry Grove Pier

Cherry Grove Pier was damaged by Hurricane Ian and split in half as a result. The pier should reopen in the spring of 2024, although ongoing renovations. The Driftwood Restaurant and Bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, while the Cherry Grove Pier Tackle Shop provides fishing supplies and access to restrooms.

Myrtle Waves Water Park's newest slide

Myrtle Waves Water Park in Surfside's H20 Racer, a four-person mat slide, will become "Wild Water Races" for the summer of 2024. This will be the park's first mat slide and will allow guests to race down the slide together.

Mura Bar, Café, and Restaurant

2024 will see the introduction of Korean-inspired small meals at Mura Restaurant, Bar, and Café, which is situated across from Grand Park Athletic Complex. The first of its kind in Myrtle Beach, Mura features a rotating conveyor belt that serves small foods such as chicken katsu sandwiches, bibimbap rice bowls, Korean fried chicken, and milk bread. Teas, coffees, and cocktails made with the Korean liquor soju are also available at the restaurant as grab-and-go alternatives.

Cantina Imperfecto

An upscale Mexican eatery called Cantina Imperfecto is scheduled to open in the Grande Dunes neighborhood next to US Foods. An outdoor patio has been built for the restored corner cantina. Located at the other end of the mall, the same owners also own Drift: A Coastal Eatery, which is open for lunch, brunch, and breakfast.

Myrtle Beach's Downtown Arts and Innovation District

The facility will include distinct entrances that are joined within, meeting spaces, and a rooftop patio. In addition to bar and lounge seating, the Tasting Room on 9th will feature an outdoor patio, a private dining room, a rotating wine list, wine flights, a craft cocktail menu, international bottled beer selections, chef-curated food menu pairings, and frequent wine-tasting events. The wine bar is owned by local chef Jamie Daskalis. In 2024, more stores and eateries will open in the district, including Lucid Candle, Good Vibes Surf and Skate, William H. Miller Studios and Fine Art, Long Bay Theatre 704, Carolina Improv Company, and Swig & Swine.
