Illuzion Patong is a high end multi-floor night club located on Bangla Road in Patong. At Illuzion you can experience an amazing laser light show, world class DJ's and recording artists depending on the day. If you are planning to go it is always worth to check online and see if there is someone headlining you would like to see perform.

The main dance floor at Illuzion is located on the ground floor directly in front of the stage. Behind it they offer VIP seating with tables. To be a VIP all you need to do is purchase an over priced bottle of your favorite spirit or if you are a group of ladies they may offer it to you for free. This helps them attract more male tourists.

The upper floor offers a nice view of the stage and dance floor and has additional VIP seating around the viewing area. The only unfortunate thing about all this is if you want to sit down for a moment you can not. Only people purchasing the VIP privilege are allowed to have a seat. This is a bit bothersome if you have been dancing for hours and just want to rest for a moment. Older people may not appreciate this at all, but if you really need to take a rest you can always leave the club and return after without issues or waiting in line.

The prices at Illuzion Patong are pretty high even for Bangla Road but you are paying for the experience which you can see in the video above. The drinks are really well mixed if you are drinking imported liquor. A bottle of domestic beer for example is double what you will pay for it at most bars on Bangla. The experience however is much more entertaining and you will find a lot of ladies there if you are a man out looking to meet other singles. The light show is second to none in the area and even the house DJ is pretty good. Mixing up popular modern music and getting the crowd going. I have even gone when there are few people there and the DJ still gets everyone energized and makes the place seem full even though there are only a handful of visitors.

I always found Illuzion enjoyable and worth the money. I like club music, I enjoy the light show and I drink Jameson so I can appreciate a well mixed drink. For a tourist on a budget, Illuzion is probably not a place you want to go for drinks however if you drink elsewhere then head over for dancing you will enjoy the vibe but save on the costs. If you take a Thai lady be prepared to spend a small bank roll while you are there. They don't really appreciate men who take them to these places and then act cheap. Part of going for them is the prestige and you will often see them snapping selfies so they can post photos showing off to their friends.

All in all, if you are looking for a good dance party and a headlining act head over to Illuzion. If you are looking to stay on budget and drink while you are dancing go to one of the smaller clubs like the White Room. If you are looking for a higher end experience with good drinks, pretty girls dancing on stage as dancers not prostitutes and great music performed by world class DJ's and recording artists then you will want to check out Illuzion on Bangla Road in Phuket.
