I'm Going to GoFest Paris

I'm glad I was able to get tickets when I did.

I always used to say I play the game casually. Now, I don't think I can call myself a casual play anymore. My brother and our friends think I'm obsessed and pretty hardcore now. Though, I've been around players that have spent way more and play harder than I do. I love the game, even though it's had it's ups and downs.

Unova Tour was a lot of fun. There were a lot of problems. Even top youtube players said it sucked compared to previous ones. Despite the constant crashes, I still got a lot of good stuff out of it. Though the gameplay stability was so bad that I sought a refund which Paypal gladly gave. If I am paying for a game service, I exepect it to be exceptional. I did hear a lot of people saying the bonuses wasn't as good as they used to be. I think the reason Unova tour still holds a special place in my heart despite the issues is because Unova was one of my favourite eras in the main Pokemon series.

It was also nice because I was able to play it with my friends and be a part of the community. Broken friendships had been restored. I don't know if they ever saw the poems I wrote about them, but if they ever do, I hope they don't get angry with me and understand that was part of my healing process. The Pokemon fandom (like everywhere) has had drama going on, but we never let any bad seeds ruin the fun. Last weekend I passed out from exhaustion, vertigo and dizzyness.

This week, I was trying to be more careful. Only doing 4 classes a week instead of 8, and not rushing around as much and trying to eat proper meals. I'm trying to pace myself and not overdo it cause I don't want a repeat of what happened last Sunday. I got a doctors appointment when I come back from Helsinki which should rule out other causes.

I can't believe that Go Fest in Parishas sold out already. The Osaka event sold out first. I'm sure the others will sell out as well. I'm glad they did the announcements well in advance because sometimes they announce the date and locations too close to the time and I am not able to get the time off to go.

I booked the Eurostar for Paris, hoping to get in, and I managed to get the friday ticket. I might purchase the add on for Saturday, but I am not sure if it will work if I leave Paris and want to explore another place. I will see later on in the year.

I am staying at the same hostel as I did last year near Gard du Nord station. It's very handy, and it gives me a chance to explore other places I didn't get to explore last time. I want to go back to Cafe Mori because that was such a cute restaurant, and all the food was Japanese and vegetarian. They even said on Instagram they wanted me to come back!

I really can't wait to go to Paris. I'm excited for it because it's a wonderful city and the park experiance will be in Parc de Screaux which is a new place for me. It's quite a way from where I am staying, but I plan to make the most of the day. The place looks beautiful with the trees and the chateux buildings and the gardens. I should be able to walk it if I am up early enough and maybe I could get a bus back if I am too tired.

As you know, I'm also a Pokemon fan. But I've only watched the anime and played the gameboy games. Never Pokemon Go. I'm so excited for you as well hehehehe
