Singapore is a city that never sleeps and is known for having exciting activities and unique experiences for everyone who visits. There is always plenty to do during your stay, and there are many ways that you can plan your trip to make sure you make the most out of your trip. Let us take a look at how you can spend two days in Singapore and cover most of the sights to see and places to visit.

When to Visit Singapore

Many months of the year have good weather and so will make your time in Singapore more pleasurable to visit. April, in general, is a great time to visit as the peak season of tourists visiting will subside by the end of February. From November onwards again the island receives an influx of tourists in time for the festive season that December brings about. The Great Singapore Sale begins in June and goes on through July and is an ideal time to visit if you want to shop. There are hardly any variations in the weather in Singapore, so it is a year-round destination to visit.

Where to Stay while in Singapore

For a short stay of two days, it is very convenient and easy to stay at a hotel in the city. Hotel 81 Osaka is an ideal place to stay as it is in close proximity to many attractions and famous places to visit such as Clarke Quay and it is a conveniently located Hotel in Tiong Bahru with close proximity to the MRT station. The rooms have a Japanese touch making and the hotel has all the modern amenities and facilities you would expect. The surrounding neighbourhood is lively and has the Tiong Bahru Market nearby.

Day 1 Visit

Start your day off with a visit to the Gardens by the Bay, which is a huge futuristic-looking park. The park is a large expansive area that is home to a variety of animals, plants and bird species and has large solar panels that power the surrounding area as well as a large water filtration system. The Flower Dome in the South Gardens has 3 cooled conservatories with plants from five continents. The Floral Fantasy is the second of the Gardens’ indoor conservatories with four distinct zones taking inspiration from fairy tales. The Cloud Forest is the 3rd conservatory and is a mist-filled landscape with many rare vegetation. From the Gardens by the Bay you can head over to Clarke Quay and go for a relaxing cruise along the Singapore River to see the sights of the city. Next on the list towards the late evening will be a visit to the National emblem of Singapore, the Merlion Statue. You can end your 1st Night with a visit to the iconic Marina Bay Sands Building. Here you can head up to the Sky Park Observation Deck to get a spectacular view of the city around you.

Day 2 Visit

Start your second day off with a visit to The ArtScience Museum. This very famous museum has had many exhibitions over the years such as “The Nobel Prize” which was an exhibit that showcased past Nobel Prize-awarded efforts made and continues to make an impact on our modern everchanging world. The museum also has permanent exhibits such as “Future World: Where Art Meets Science.” Where visitors can immerse themselves in a fully interactive, 1500 square meter digital universe that is fully interactive and focuses on the themes of Nature, Town, Park and Science. After visiting the ArtScience Museum, a visit to Chinatown is the ideal place to shop for souvenirs and grab a scrumptious lunch and also taste some great street food. From there a visit to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is very close by and is a beautiful site to see. The next stop for your day will be a visit to Haji Lane which has a large mosque and has its streets lined with food stalls as well. As you leave Haji Lane you can venture to Little India next, which is one of the most colourful parts of Singapore and grab a delicious dinner and meal.
