Since 2023, SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi has welcomed thousands of guests eager to dive into adventure. The world’s largest indoor marine life theme park boasts eight realms teeming with rides, attractions, and animal encounters and presentations that will immerse you in fun and excitement.

SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi Eight Ocean Realms

Spanning over 1,970,000 sq ft (183,000 square meters) of ground area, SeaWorld Yas Island boasts eight ocean realms, each featuring different marine themes, rides, and experiences.

Below is an overview of these realms and the attractions you can find in each one:

1. One Ocean

This realm is SeaWorld Yas Island's central hub, which serves as the gateway to the other realms and the onsite animal care center. Its highlight is the media shows, which offer 360-degree views of different magnificent underwater scenes.

You’ll also find the Explorer’s HQ here, where you can book other experiences you want to enjoy at the park. If you’re excited to sample SeaWorld Yas Island’s delectable offerings, start by getting an ice cream cone and other frosty delights at the Frozen Treats.

2. Abu Dhabi Ocean

As its name implies, the Abu Dhabi Ocean realm takes you on a journey across the Arabian Gulf’s marine ecosystem. It features touch pools where you can watch and touch a variety of fascinating aquatic animals you can find in local waters.

The pearl diving shows give a glimpse of this activity, which has been part of Abu Dhabi's history.

Some of the sea animals you can find here are sea snakes, sea turtles, bamboo sharks, and rays. You can get up close with a rescued dugong and sea turtle here as well.

3. Rocky Point

Rocky Point is the park’s Pacific Northwest-inspired realm. It boasts an above and underwater habitat with sea lions, seals, pelicans, and other avian and marine animals moving and swimming freely across the immense area.

This realm features advanced technology that simulates the natural water and environment of the Pacific Northwest, and even the day, night, and seasonal light cycles. This combination gives the animals here a comfortable and enriching home.

Sea lions, harbor seals, Asian small-clawed otters, pelicans, and cormorants are some of the animals you can find here. Watch the sea lion presentation and sign up for the sea lion encounter for a chance to see them up close.

4. MicroOcean

The MicroOcean is SeaWorld Yas Island’s biggest underwater playground. It features several fun rides and experiences that delight guests of all ages.

Here, you can find four of the park’s most popular rides and attractions:

● Turtle Twist

● Octozoom

● Jelly Plunge

● Eel Racer

● Kelp Climb

● Explorer’s Sea Base

While here, take the time to watch some of SeaWorld Yas Island’s entertaining mascots and puppets, such as Sea Star and Krill Dude, perform in live shows. You can also enjoy great eats at Bitsy Bites and shop for souvenirs at Jellies.

5. Tropical Ocean

If you’ve always wanted to explore a tropical rainforest, you can do so at Tropical Ocean. This realm features a lagoon, tropical rainforest, and a variety of marine animals.

The realm is home to multi-species habitats and the Manta Coaster, the world’s first roller coaster featuring zero-gravity flip-outs. This exciting ride features three launches and 17 airtime moments and takes you through a bioluminescent tunnel that runs through Ray Reef.

Dolphins, flamingos, macaws, tropical rays, fish, and birds are the mainstays in this colorful realm. The Dolphin Presentation takes place here, which is a must-watch if you love these playful mammals.

You can also feed rays, watch the canopy climbers and frog and butterfly stilt walkers, shop, and dine at one of the eight restaurants here.

6. Arctic

Jump from the warm paradise of the Tropical Ocean to a cooler region: the Arctic.

The Arctic, which is part of the Polar Ocean realm, immerses you in the unique, cool environment of the polar region. It’s home to walruses, sea otters, puffins, and different cold-water fish species.

You can also explore the Juhani Village here, SeaWorld Yas Island’s version of the North Pole’s charming and vibrant town.

Don’t skip the Hypersphere 360°, an immersive, 360-degree multimedia ride that takes you on an exciting underwater journey. It’s the world’s first dome ride theater.

During your visit here, you’ll meet Sven and Oorni, the Polar Ocean’s helpful and funny guides. Bring home one or two souvenirs from the shop, too.

7. Antarctica

Antarctica, which is the second of the Polar Ocean realms, is an incredible replica of the coldest place on earth. Here, you can experience bracing winds and see beautiful mountains and icy shelves.

This realm is home to six species of penguins:

● King penguin

● Gentoo penguin

● Rockhopper penguin

● Chinstrap penguin

● Macaroni penguin

● Adélie penguin

You can watch these penguins being their natural, playful selves in this exceptional realm.

Kids can have fun at Penguin Play, a play structure. You can also enjoy unique dining experiences here as you indulge in delectable food while having fantastic views of the penguin habitat.

8. Endless Ocean

This realm boasts the largest multi-species marine life aquarium in the region. It’s home to over 68,000 aquatic animals, including sharks, rays, moray eels, day octopus, crustaceans, and schooling fish, living in different habitats.

You can watch these fascinating creatures from different observation areas, including a 20-meter vertical window, a cave, tunnels, and an escalator ride.

Endless Ocean also offers guests interactive experiences, such as joining the S•E•A Guardians and learning about the missions in Seabase 4’s Launch Bay. For a more exciting adventure, join the Seadive or Seaventure experience. Watch live performances, dine, and shop here as well.

The realms host different regular and seasonal events. Various SeaWorld seasonal events add a unique, whimsical touch to your visit here, making it more enjoyable and memorable. For instance, you can join a sleepover at the Endless Ocean, Tropical Ocean, Polar Ocean, Abu Dhabi Ocean, or Rocky Point for the Sleepover: Winter Wonderland event.
