The transportation system at Disney World is very popular. Peoplelish has tons of information about it on their website, including transportation from the airport to the hotel and the Go Disney Tips article. Keep reading this article for the fastest and easiest way to get from the airport to the parks.
When you take in the Magic of Disney World, transportation is critical to make sure you get to see all of the attractions you want to see. Confusion can be a peculiar way it can take you from one end of the park to the other. Avoiding confusion is the number one tip of all those who visit Disney World.
1. Pre-booked FastPass.
This allows you to bypass the gates and go directly to a FastPass ticket booth in less than 30 minutes prior to each game. With the Go Disney Tips author, Patrice aggressively promotes the benefits of using the FastPass system. He feels it saves time, eliminates waits and makes the guests look "cool."
I agree. FastPass makes a lot of sense on this plan. Annnd once you have utilized the FastPass, you'll never rush to a departing gate and then be forced to wait in a long ticket line.
2. Take the train.
The Go Disney Tips author has found the Orlando to Florida Railway to be extremely helpful. The train departs three times daily and takes approximately 2 hours 15 minutes. disembarking the train at the other end is then a simple matter of walking across the green brick platform and into the heart of the park.
3. Have a large cool drink handy (ideally non-alcoholic).
The ideal cool drink is milk-spiced hot chocolate or "dream" tea. Dream tea also tastes great and is the perfect way to end a long day in the park. "Orange passion" is a close second.
4. Plan to eat a lot.
On my trip to Paris I walked the entire length of the Basilica defensive wall, I ate breakfast at the Café Paris and lunch was at the Hotel Plaza.
Also, keep a sandwich or a light meal in your bag in case you find that you are hungry panda bears aren't so good. The bread and cheese are delicious and you won't regret having eaten it.
5. Get a Disney World character breakfast.
This is a little bit more expensive than the general public version but it is well worth it. They are offering a different breakfast each day (which can be a good and bad thing) and it is worth the extra buck.
The wait time to get a table is approximately thirty minutes in advance of each game. Be warned if you don't get a place to sit down to eat there tends to be a large line-up.
6. Carry your little ones.
A big enough "arm" for their little one is ideal. igators tend to chill out overnight. Bring car seat for infants or toddlers.
7. Be safe.
Remember Disney World is a second home. Don't walk unwary in unfamiliar territory. Don't leave or drawer on rides after dark. Familiarize yourself with the map. The map is located in each area.
8. Enjoy the sun.
The temperatures are mild and the crowds are sparse.
9. Be Disney.
Do what the Disney characters do, theatrate your child's imagination, use the parks as their personal playground and tell stories that even your best child will enjoy.
10. Lower your stress.
There are worse things than being stressed on a long vacation. Plan and pack with the knowledge that you will be able to handle the stress of travel and return home with a short attention span.
Read myths about the sun, lightweight bathing suits and don't listen to the tours that claim it's a new kind of high altitude adventure.
I hope this list proves helpful. Have a magical vacation!
