Cleveland is located in northeast Ohio right on the fourth-largest lake in America lake Erie. Cleveland is home to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, and the wonderful Cleveland browns. The Q (it's called Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse now), where the Cavaliers play, is also home of the Cleveland monsters our hockey team. The streets on game day are full of fans, free t-shirts, and free food. The atmosphere is amazing and makes you feel proud to be apart of it. My hometown is the location of many great museums Rock & Roll Hall of Fame which holds the famous Michael Jackson glove. Downtown Cleveland also has two of the nation's best Entertainment establishments The Playhouse square and The House of blues. Playhouse Square is the Clevelands version of broadway and The House of blues is a premier live music venue. The signature part of Cleveland is the six huge Cleveland signs all over the cities. Tourists and Locals love taking pictures with the sign with a beautiful background that shows the skyline. When someone takes a picture at the sign it to symbolizes love, success, or adventure.

The Cleveland sign that has the most wedding photo is across the water from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center. It has the river and a great view of the city line. All the Cleveland signs have wonderful views with a lot of open space that you can host a wedding there. My hometown believes in love and they wanted to add a place where couples, families, and friends can come and take memorable photos and host events. These signs have captured so much success over the years including my very own high school graduation photos. Gender reveals are done at the signs and it gives locals a great safe space to have fun in Cleveland. Tourists Love the signs also because they scream “I was here”. These signs give everyone the instagrammable moments they desire.

Cleveland is full of festivals and races that often end at the sign. We a lot of celebrations here that show off “CLE Talent”. Some of my favorites include The Chalk festival, the film festival at Cleveland international airport. And free lunch program downtown. The chalk festival is where artists come from all over and buy a square and display their art. While the film festival is to showcase the best local, national, and international films from up-and-coming filmmakers. The free lunch program is where small businesses and neighood programs give out information and feed the community. Another big part is the holiday parades such as Spooky Pooch and the famous St.patricks day parade. Spooky pooch is a parade of dogs in Halloween costumes, it's a woof competition. Then the St. Patrick's parade is everyone's favorite we normally have the Ohio state band play in the parade. One thing I love about Cleveland is the creativity and the originality.

Cleveland's culture is different and when I moved to Detroit the people made me feel out of place. I did forget who I was before Detroit told me who I should be. I remember now, after all, those months of being judged by it. we are Creative, we love thinking outside the box and being different. Creative people run the world, just like we do. Creative people are extraordinary. I admire the people who set the trend and not be the trend. They are my heroes because they are more than just ordinary people. Their dreams and goals might be the same as an average person but they have a unique way of reaching them. People will always know their names, the names of the extraordinary people who showed their originality and creativity. That's why people remember Cleveland!
