A glowing review

By Revista XCIPublished 5 months ago 3 min read

There is a show on Recipe.TV called “A Taste of London” hosted by Chef Edward Delling- Williams. It is as the title of the show says the food of London and culture. Being a native of London Edward Delling-Williams on the subject of London and the food. I love to watch a taste of London anytime it’s on. I would even watch reruns of it even if I’ve seen the episode before because it’s so enjoyable. I also like Edward Delling- Williams. He’s a personal host of the show one of my favorite cooking show personalities.

In the show the viewer is taken around London and we delight in all of the wonderful culinary treasures that the city has to offer. By the way if it’s not already obvious I love London! As of the writing of this article there are only four episodes of the program but still always enjoyable every time that it comes on. There is one episode where we get to visit the night scene of London and go and see all the wonderful pubs as well as restaurants around. Also if you are not familiar with local English dishes you get to feast your eyes as Chef Williams feasts for us. The four episodes of the series The Classics: which is as the name implies about the wonderful dishes London is known for such as Fish and Chips, Bangers and mash, and so many delicious dishes I can’t remember the names of all of them but I would know what it is when I see it. On the episode called The Sweet Scene we get to see a delicious treat known as Humble Crumble, a specialty shop like Humble Crumble serves delicious hot chocolate. The Pub scene is exactly as the title implies. Edward Delling-Edwards had a Guinness which is an ale born in England and gained worldwide fame.

There is a restaurant in London that we were taken to in the episode called “The Classics” called “Popies” which makes delicious Fish and Chips. It is too bad that the restaurant Popies is not here in the United States of America. In the Pub Scene episode Edward Delling-Williams has guest Candace Abroad, who is a blogger who moved to London from America after falling in love one much after my own heart. One of the pubs that appears in the episode Charles Dickens used to go there and the restaurant has the bench. Of Course, they sat on the bench. They sat on history. I would too.

It is also fun to watch because we get to see the city and all of the wonderful things to see and do. Including the London Bridge and Buckingham Palace ,I mean you can not have a show called A taste of London and not have historical landmarks. I love that England and London is racially and culturally diverse and that really makes London so much more delicious and that is another reason I love London all the more.

The name of the pub where Candace Abroad and Edward Delling-Williams sat on the same bench as Charles Dickens was called the Holly Bush.

I love this show so much and I have nothing but positive vibes for the show. It would be fantastic if there were more episodes of the show. In truth I had found this show quite by happy accident. One day I was changing channels looking for something to watch I came across a channel called Recipe.TV and I came across the show and have been a loyal viewer ever since and it is simply delicious!
