Mair Mulroney: Dhar Mann's Top Heel

The multi-talented Mair Mulroney wears many hats, with one of them being a regular villainess in Dhar Mann's videos

Mair Mulroney has appeared in over 40 online films for Dhar Mann Studios

On September 23, 2020, I watched a video from Dhar Mann Studios for the first time. I found myself watching another. And another. And a whole bunch more until I have now become a regular fan of Dhar Mann's videos (as well as its many copycats). I have long reached a point where I know a good bit of the actors involved in the films, and one of the actors who I am a huge fan of because of the videos is the amazing Mair Mulroney.

Mair is a singer as well as an actress; she has many credits to her name. One such credit is a film known as Unchained, which Mair co-stars alongside Eric Roberts, and one of my all-time favorite wrestlers, WWE's Franky Monet (credited under her more familiar ring name, Taya Valkyrie). She is, perhaps, best known for her many appearances in Dhar Mann's family friendly films--over 40 of Dhar Mann's videos.

In nearly all of them, Mair is often the antagonist. She and fellow Dhar Mann actress Katherine Norland play their share of baddies, but in Mair's case, she has played heel characters in nearly all of her appearances. I often love the different types of villains played by Mair; usually, she plays a snobbish character who looks down on somebody due to appearances. Mair's few face characters are even designated villains, including one from my favorite video of hers.

The film, Husband's Sister Refuses To Move Out Or Get Job, Wife Reacts Shockingly, featured Mair as Ashley, a young woman who lives with her brother and his wife, and basically freeloads off them. I don't consider Ashley as a heel character; the only thing she's guilty of is taking her older brother for granted--something his wife points out. The funniest scene was Ashley refusing to buy groceries, yet gushing over receiving an expensive pair of shoes she ordered--which she referred to as a "necessity." Mair's acting in that film--the early scenes where she's being a freeloader, and the ending where Ashley (after moving with her boyfriend) gets a taste of her own medicine and realized the error of her ways--was just amazing, I loved her overall performance.

In recent appearances, Mair's heel roles have become more than "Nasty, but Small Time," and have even become criminal, which is just epic. A big example came in the film, Scammer Fakes Injury for Money, He Lives to Regret It, which featured Mair as Denise, the girlfriend of main protagonist Randall, whose best friend, Ted, was running an injury scam to get money for a new car. Randall's admonishments fell on deaf ears, even as the three characters were at the hospital, where Ted was going to further his ruse.

Denise's expression during her surprise heel turn

I remember watching and expressing surprise and elation over seeing Mair playing a protagonist; I love her villainous roles, but Mair also does a great job playing face characters. Denise turned heel in a surprise twist, as FBI agents revealed that she had been running multiple online scams for money to buy expensive purses. Mair acted out Denise's heel turn in spectacular fashion, as the twist sees her transform into a conniving villainess with her snide comment to Randall; telling him that he would never get her a Louis Vuitton bag.

I absolutely love seeing Mair Mulroney in Dhar Mann's videos, she plays the heel role to absolute perfection in her films. She definitely has a natural look for playing villainesses; I think she really enjoys being the antagonist--she's so good at it. I will continue to look forward to seeing more of Mair Mulroney on YouTube and beyond, she is an absolute delight to watch.
