And Just Like That finale aired on Thursday night, August 14, 2025.When Sex and the City first aired in June 1998, many people who were in their 30s related to the 4 single women and the dating scene.
And Just Like That Finale
When this series first debuted in 2021, there were mixed reactions. Moreover, this show was a reminder of all the nights I used to spend watching Sex and the City with my Sister, Edie, and my friend, Cheryl, whenever I was in New York.
Of course, I was excited to see Season 3. When Michael King announced the conclusion of this series, there were mixed reactions. Hence, many people looked forward to getting lost in the characters they have followed since the late 90s.
In one of the last few episodes, Carrie Bradshaw finds herself in her old place. When she arrived, she walked around and didn’t like the changes she saw made to her old place.
And Just Like That Finale – Lasting Impression in Fashion
Although the series has ended, the fashions will live on. From the show’s start, fashion continued to play an integral part in this series.
In the first 2 seasons, the audience saw the return of pieces from Carrie’s signature style, such as Manolo Blahnik heels and the Fendi Baguette Bag. To learn more about the styles of Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda, check out my And Just Like That Influence on Fashion post.
In season 3, Carrie was featured wearing various skirt styles which emphasized unique details such as gathered details, a full-length denim skirt, and a full tulle skirt.

Are You Disappointed
Indeed, many fans who have been watching Sex and the City since its inception are disappointed with the And Just Like That finale. But I’m not one of them.
From the beginning of the series, I was excited to see how these women aged and what the writers would do with the characters.
So, after Sex and the City ended, Kim Cattrall chose not to return. Because rumors were circulating about Chris Noth’s alleged misconduct, his character, known as Big, died.
In my opinion, when I first started watching this series, I enjoyed it. However, after several new characters became mainstays of this series and different complications arose in each of their lives, it began to feel more like a soap opera to me. Therefore, I give the And Just Like Finale an “F”. Hence, it didn’t pass the class – no pun intended.
Though the And Just Like That finale is over, you may still remember these characters for years to come.
Finally, this show was nostalgic for Sex and the City fans.
As always, I welcome your comment on the And Just Like That finale.
