Georgia State 71 - Georgia Southern 66

Guard Ashley Foster scored 11 points and forward Hannah Sadler had 10 as Georgia State defeated Georgia Southern, 71-66. The Georgia State (10-7) defense locked up its opponent. Georgia Southern had 19 turnovers opposed to 11 assists. Foster and teammate Deasia Merrill snatched three steals each. Merrill was impressive, getting her three swipes in just 10 minutes of action off of the bench. Sadler also collected two steals.
Sadler is shooting 44 percent on the season but has made 11 of her last 17 shots, which converts to 64 percent over her last four games. Foster's 11 points were a season high for the junior who is averaging 5.4 points per contest.
Michigan State 78 - Penn State 65

Senior guard Nia Clouden scored 17 points and reserve guard Alyza Winston came off of the bench and nailed three, three-point shots on five attempts to lead Michigan State to a late season road win over Penn State. Winston scored 11 points off of the bench, making 60 percent of her threes in a game for the second time this season. She is leading her team, shooting 37 percent from three for the entire year. Clouden rebounded from a rough performance against Northwestern a week ago where she shot 5-15. Against Penn State she shot 7-13. For the season Clouden is averaging 19 points and shooting 50 percent from the field.
Central Michigan 84 - Kent State 71

Micaela Kelly and Molly Davis lifted Central Michigan to a win over Mid American Conference foe Kent State. Kelly shot 11-16 including five three-pointers, on her way to 35 points. Davis shot 11-18 with five three-point makes as well to follow Kelly up with 32 points. Kelly has scored 72 points over the past two games in a season where she is averaging 23.5 points per game. Davis is averaging 20.4 points.

UCLA 69 - Utah 58

Michaela Onyenwere scored 25 points to lead UCLA (12-3) to an 11-point road win over Utah. Onyenwere had four rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks. Guard Chantel Horvat came off of the bench for the Bruins with 14 points and 12 rebounds. It was her second double-double of the season.
Onyenwere's 25 points was her second highest scoring output of the season. She is averaging 17 points per game. Utah dropped to 5-12 and was led in scoring and assists by Brynna Maxwell who had 15 points and six dimes.
Cleveland State 68 - Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne 45

Cleveland State improved to 7-7, while Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne continued to be winless at 0-19. Cleveland State senior Mariah White had 20 points and three steals to lead the Vikings. It was her fifth game with at least 20 points this season. White is leading the team in scoring at 19 points, assists with an average of three per game and steals, at two thefts per contest. CSU senior forward Nadia Dumas pitched in 14 points and eight rebounds in the win. Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne got a double-double from senior guard Sierra Bell. She had 11 points, 13 rebounds and four assists.

Kentucky 71 - Tennessee 56

Rhyne Howard struggled shooting, but she did everything else well as Kentucky (14-5) bested SEC rival Tennessee (12-4). Howard had seven steals, seven rebounds, six assists and one turnover. Kentucky was led in scoring by Chasity Patterson's 21 points on nine-of-16 shooting. It was her third game with at least 20 points this season.
Howard had eight points which matched her lowest total of the season. She scored eight points in her first game and hadn't scored less than 13 points since. Howard is averaging 19 points per game. Patterson is averaging 13.1. Tennessee was led by Rae Burrell's 22 points. The 6-1 junior is averaging 17.2 points per game.
