Butler 73 - Xavier 61

Butler won its second game behind a strong second half.
The Bulldogs outscored Xavier 37-24 to capture a home win improving to a record of 2-15. The victory stopped an eight game slide as Butler got 23 points from guard Upe Atosu, who made 10-of-11 free-throws. Guard Genesis Parker hit seven-of-14 shots, scoring 18 points. Both Atosu and Parker led their team with four assists each.
Butler got a strong defensive performance from forward Nyamer Diew who blocked five shots to go along with 12 points, both career highs for the 6-1 freshman.
Xavier fell to 4-8, after the loss. Forward A'Riana Gray led the way with 23 points as well as eight rebounds.
Marquette 65 - Creighton 41
Forward Lauren Van Kleunen posted 20 points, while guard Selena Lott had 10 points and 11 assists as Marquette improved to 16-4 with a win over Creighton.

Van Kleunen, a 6-2 senior, has posted at least 20 points four times this season. This time she did it making nine-of-14 shots. Forward Camryn Taylor scored 14 for Marquette as well, making six-of-10 shots. Behind Lott's 11 assists, Marquette tallied 20 assists with just 11 turnovers. The Marquette defense made it difficult for Creighton to take care of the ball with 11 steals. Creighton had just 12 assists and 22 turnovers.

Lott's assist total was the senior's second time getting as many assists in a game this season. She also had six steals and three blocks. Both season highs.
Creighton had just one player reach double figures as forward Emma Ronsiek scored 10 points.
Alcorn State 73 - Alabama A&M 64
Kirdis Clark scored 21 and Cayla Obillo had 19 points as Alcorn State toppled Alabama A&M in an overtime win.

Alcorn State (6-9) outscored its SWAC rival 12-3 in the extra period to score the home win. The Lady Braves survived a dominant effort from Alabama A&M's Dariauna Lewis, who had 25 points, 17 rebounds and two blocks. The Bulldogs also got 14 points and nine rebounds from Deshawna Harper.
Alcorn State limited its turnovers to nine while Alabama A&M recorded 20. Clark averages 12.8 points per game for Alcorn State and her 21 points was a season high from the senior out of Natchez, Mississippi.
Lewis, a junior forward for Alabama A&M is having a very productive season with averages of 16.3 points and 12.8 rebounds per game.

Fairfield 60 - Monmouth 46

Lou Lopez-Senechal hit four three-point shots on her way to 23 points, leading Fairfield to a win over Monmouth. The forward connected on four-of-nine shots from long distance. Callie Cavanaugh, another, Fairfield forward, led her team with 14 boards with 13 points. Eight of Cavanaugh's rebounds were offensive. Monmouth collected only five offensive rebounds as a team.
Fairfield guard Rachel Hakes paced her team with seven assists and three steals. She also was able to finish the game without one single turnover. It was her third game this season with five or more assists and no turnovers.
Monmouth got a bright performance off of the bench form Jen Louro who scored a season high 19 points. She hit five-of-ten threes.
Howard 67 - Coppin State 45

Howard took off to a 19-11 lead in the first quarter to fly past the Eagles of Coppin State with a 22-point road win. Three Howard players scored double figures in the win. Guard Jayla Thornton posted 17 points, guard Iyanna Warren posted 11 and reserve Destiny Howell scored 10 off of the bench in the win. Howard was led in rebounds by forward Anzhane Hutton's seven.

Coppin State was led in scoring by guard Nailah Delinois' 13 points and rebounds by Jalynda Salley's 10 boards.
