Top Scoring Players on Fantasy Football (Week 10)
Analyzing the highest scoring players, by position, during Week 10 of the 2024 season

Well, we have arrived, folks! The home stretch of the Fantasy Football season began on Thursday; remember, a standard Fantasy Football regular season last 15 weeks (14 in some custom leagues). Beginning with Week 11, it's a push for the playoffs, and it usually close to trade deadline time, depending on the league's settings. Week 10 was the final week before this pivotal moment of the season, and it was quite a delicious one for some fantasy owners.
With that said, here are Week 10's leading players:
QB: Joe Burrow

For the second straight week, Joe Burrow took the lead for QBs; setting the bar on Thursday Night Football. Here's how fantasy scoring works for quarterbacks: 1 point per every 25 passing yards (or 0.04 points per passing yard), and passing touchdowns are 4 points each. Interceptions are usually a 1 point deduction, and lost fumbles are a 2 point deduction. Burrow's numbers: 428 yards (17.12 points), four touchdowns (16 points), and six rushing yards (0.6 points), totalling 33.72 points overall. Burrow and his opposing QB that evening, Lamar Jackson, were the two highest scoring QBs on Fantasy for Week 10.
RB: Bijan Robinson

It was not a good day at the office for the Falcons, but at least Bijan Robinson had one hell of a performance. Fantasy scoring for running backs goes like this: 1 point per 10 rushing yards, and touchdowns are 6 points. Receiving scoring rules also apply; 1 point per 10 receiving yards, and touchdowns are 6 points, and there's also PPR (Points Per Reception). Bijan ran for 116 yards (11.6 points) and two touchdowns (12 points), and also had three receptions (3 points) for 28 yards (2.8 points). A grand total of 29.4 points, finishing 4.5 points ahead of division rival Chuba Hubbard.
Now, on to the central attraction:
WR: Ja'Marr Chase

55.4 fantasy points! 55.4 fantasy points! I don't really have to say anything more than that, other than, "Thank God that I have Ja'Marr Chase on my Fantasy team!" But yeah, 11 receptions (11 points), 264 yards (26.4 points), and three touchdowns (18 points). Something about playing against the Ravens really brings the best out of him, and he's really that good anyway! Burrow and Chase showed out big time in that game, yet the Bengals lost. Something has to change somewhere.
TE: Travis Kelce

He's back, folks! For the first time this season, Travis Kelce was the top tight end on Fantasy, earning the nod for Week 10. Scoring for tight ends is the same as for wide receivers, and regarding Kelce, 8 receptions (8 points), 64 yards (6.4 points), and a touchdown (6 points), totalling 20.4 points. A close second in the TE category was Mark Andrews with 18.8 points on that Thursday Night contest against Cincy.
K: Joshua Karty

Here's how scoring for kickers goes: extra points are 1 point, of course. Regarding field goals, those under 40 yards are worth 3 points, 40-49 yard FGs are worth 4 points, and those 50 yards or longer are worth 5 points. It's no shock that Joshua Karty took the lead for kickers, given that he scored all of the Rams' points. Five field goals: one in the 20s and two in the 30s (9 points), and two in the 50s (10 points). Nineteen fantasy points for Karty; four more than his opposing kicker that night, Jason Sanders.
DEF: Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles defense had an absolute field day with what was left of the Cowboys. Here's how scoring for team defenses goes. Regarding scoring defenses, a shutout is 10 points, giving up 1-6 points is 7 points, giving up 7-13 points is 4 points, giving up 14-20 points is 1 point, giving up 21-27 points is no points, giving up 28-34 point is a 1 point deduction, and giving up at least 35 points is a 4 point deduction. Elsewhere, sacks are 1 point, interceptions are 2 points, safeties are 2 points, fumble recoveries are 2 points, blocked kicks are 2 points, and touchdowns are 6 points. The Eagles defense gave up just six points (7 points), racked up 3 sacks (3 points), had one interception (2 points), and recovered four fumbles (8 points). A grand total of 20 fantasy points; the only team defense to reach 20 points in Week 10.
Other than Chase, I also have Kelce on Fantasy, but that's it. I have eight fantasy teams, and one of them is 9-1 while another one is 8-2. My worst team is 4-6, but even that team has a shot at a possible playoff spot. The next four or five weeks will be very, very intriguing for Fantasy owners, as the push for the playoffs in Fantasy Football begins!
