My Top 10 Favorite Championship Belt Designs
My Opinion Only

Tere are titles that are good and titles that are bad. Everything is subjective and I know not everyone will agree with this one. My name is Jared Weathers and this is my top 10 favorite titles. Before we start, if you like this video, subscribe because I have more on the way. Let’s go.
10. ECW Tag Team Titles- I love the original ECW’s titles. Looking so different from either WWF or WCW at the time. With a saw blade around the ECW logo, while WWF had an eagle and WCW recycling the globe. Not the greatest tag titles but one I really like.
9. ROH World Championship (2010- 2017)- One of the best World Championships, this design isn’t to busy. Not huge but big enough to get the point across that it is a world title. With a wrestling ring instead of a globe it makes it stand out.
8. NWA United States Championship- The original title looks bad now but unique nonetheless. Having the entire continental United States as the front plate was an interesting idea. The red strap isn’t used anymore and we might see another US title on here later.
7. WWE Diva’s Championship- Okay hold on. I know this title is not liked but I do have a rebuttal for this. It is interesting and the only belt at the time that looked different. I understand the legacy it has cultivated but nevertheless, it should be looked upon as revolutionary for the time.
6. WWE Intercontinental Championship (11-19)- This IC title is a redesign of the 1980’s/90’s IC belt with a white strap instead of black. Cody Rhodes introduced this title after the Hell In A Cell 2011 Pay-Per-View. It was also eye-catching.
5. NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship- The 10 pounds of gold is the most respected or at least was for a very long time. With a lineage starting back in the early 1900’s and surviving TNA, this belt has seen a lot. All of the country flags makes it stand out and a little globe instead of the big globe we usually see.
4. WCW United States Championship- From the red strap to a black strap and a new design. One of the better US title designs, with a modified US Flag and an eagle on the front. WCW emblazoned on the top and using the original WCW type. This version was used in the Invasion storyline and was retired until a redesigned US title became property of Smackdown in 2003 as a part of the first WWE Brand Extension or WWE Draft.
3. AEW TNT Title- Now this might be recency bias but the three different versions of the TNT title we have gotten so far are the best of the AEW titles. From the original silver to the gold trimmed to Miro’s Bulgarian flag version. No matter how it looks, it’s still the best looking belt on All Elite Wrestling television, even in 2025.
2. WWE World Heavyweight Championship (2014- Present)- The best WWE/WWF World Heavyweight Championship ever made. The logo of the company with World Heavyweight Championship around the W. The ability to have custom side plates is the best thing that makes it stick out more. No other World Championship allows this even in WWE’s catalog of world titles. However this isn’t the best world title.
1- IWGP Heavyweight Championship- This lineage dates back to June 12th, 1987. Not nearly as long as the NWA or WWE championships. However, I believe the case can be made for the prestidge to be just as high if not higher. While I do like this title throughout the years my favorite version is the brand new as of July 28th, 2021, the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
