Women of the Track watch Football

In the spirit of promoting women's sports, we here at Winners Only decided to try something a bit creative and unique. Much of the United States is paying attention to NCAA football, so are some of the top women's track and field athletes in the country. Let's take a look at the ladies and the teams that they are supporting.
LSU's Sydney Clemens

Sydney Clemens attended a game where her school, LSU defeated UCLA 34-17 on Sept. 21. After trailing 10-7 at the close of the first quarter, LSU outscored the visitors from the west coast 24-7 including a 17-0 shutout in the second half. LSU is currently 5-1 and is on a five-game win streak after losing its season opener to USC, 27-20 on Sept.1. The Tigers are led by quarterback Garrett Nussmeier who has 1,989 yards and 18 touchdowns so far this season.
Clemons competed in her first season at LSU in 2024. She qualified for the NCAA east regional meet in the 100-meter hurdles for the second straight season. Clemons previously competed at Coastal Carolina where she was a three-time Sun Belt Conference hurdles bronze medalist.
Missouri's Euphenie Andre

On Sept. 21, Euphenie Andre attended Missouri's 30-27 double overtime win against Vanderbilt. This proved to be an impressive victory, seeing that Vanderbilt toppled the NCAA's number one team just one week later. In Missouri's win over Vanderbilt, the Tigers were led by running back Nate Noel's 199 yards on 24 carries. Missouri is 5-1 and Noel has 471 yards with an average of six yards per carry to go along with two touchdowns.
Andre was a two-time All-American at Missouri, earning honors in 2021 and 2023. She won the SEC outdoor triple jump gold in 2024 and competed in the USA Olympic Trials during the summer.
Oregon's Aaliyah McCormick

Aaliyah McCormick attended Oregon's 32-31 win over the NCAA's number two ranked team Ohio State on Oct. 12. Oregon entered the game ranked third and toppled its new Big Ten foe behind Evan Stewart's performance at wide receiver. The six-foot junior caught seven balls for 149 yards and a touchdown. This is Oregon's first year in the Big Ten after leaving the PAC-12. Now, 6-0, Oregon has taken over Ohio State's ranking of second in the nation. The Ducks have scored at least 31 points in five of its first six games.
McCormick is one of the top hurdlers in the NCAA. For the past two seasons, she earned first team All-America honors in the 60-meter hurdles during indoor season.
Arkansas' Rachel Glenn

Rachel Glenn attended Arkansas' 19-14 win over number four Tennessee on on Oct. 5. The Razorbacks improved to 4-2 in the win which came after a loss to Texas A&M, the week prior. Arkansas shutout the Tennessee offense in three of the four quarters of the game. Devin Bale averaged 57.3 yards per punt, while Doneiko Slaughter and Xavian Sorey Jr., each posted eight tackles apiece to pace the Arkansas defense.
After winning the NCAA indoor gold in the high jump, Glenn grabbed a bronze in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA outdoor championships. She also became an Olympian where she represented Team USA in the high jump. Glenn previously competed at South Carolina. The Long Beach, California native was the NCAA outdoor high jump champ in 2021 as a freshman.
